he called and said that there was a law suite against me and that i will have to go to court tomorrow and will loose my job and he had all of my information but when i ran a check on the number and found out he was a scam i called him back to let him  know that i know he is a fake he hung up on me.

This is a scam

They call me at 6:00 am telling me that if I don't contact them back I could go to jail! Hahahaha this is a scam!!

On December 15 I was left a voicemail during work ours by a terrible recording. The call appeared to be coming from California (714 209 7363). I called back and a guy with a very heavy Indian or Pakistan accent answered. In the end he claimed the call was for someone else and hung up.

Then today on December 18 I saw a call coming in from New York (315 675 5091). I ignored it, and a voicemail was left. Of course, it was yet another threat. I called back, and I swear to god the same guy with the same heavy accent answered. At this point I got pretty upset. After telling him that I thought he was a scammer that I was pretty dang sure I talked to him the previous day - he kept saying "you are not the president" <insert insults here> and then hung up.

At this point I'm pretty sure he has my number on some outbound dialer list. *sigh* FML
