Called saying they had a job for me once i told them i have a job they hung up. They never asked a name like they knew who they were calling for

A guy name, Joe launched into that he understood that someone in the home likes to travel. He told me that the line is recorded. Joe was trying to sell cruise packages and selling a discounted rates by sharing a cabin with someone else. I asked him to please remove my number. Each time I rebuttaled him, Joe would reply, "I appreciate your concern!" And then launch back into his sale pitch. Joe, then said he was going to ask me a couple of qualifying questions and then get me over to another department. I told him again I am not interested. Joe, repeated, "I appreciate your concern!" Then he would go back into his sales pitch. I just cut it off and said, "I am not concerned, I am just not interested!" And then hung up.

You were dealing with a sophisticated robot not a real person. You only get a real person if your answers to the qualifying questions meet their criteria. Cheaper to screen potential suckers via automation than using real people. To waste their time (and money) you have to get past the robot to the real person.
