Same here.

This number calls about every two weeks.  When I answer no one is on the other end, and they hang up after a few seconds.

Didn't pick up!!

Got a call today. No message.

They called me and didn't say anything when I answered. I called them back using *67 and it was a newspaper promotion.

Received 4 calls from this number, one right after another. No one on line when I answered. Then number would immediately call again. I called the number back and it was the Wichita Eagle (newspaper) promotions department. Woman I spoke with said it's an automated call. Asked to be taken off their list, we'll see what happens....

Rang and rang - no message left

checked my call list - this number is always calling - usually in the evening -- I never answer - only wait for a message which is never left.  If this is a Wichita Eagle subscription scam it will not be the first one in the name of that newspaper.

So, I redialed and it was the Wichita Eagle offering a “real deal” again. They also use a number called United Management which the BBB says is out of business and had a low rating. I’ve told them to take me off their list. (They provided lousy service although they continued to make changes.) They operate from so many numbers. They continue to email me, too. Block them or don’t pick up.

When I answered the phone with the name of our business a lady asked the
name of our business and then if she had the correct street address, I
asked her if she was trying to come to our location, you could hear the
boiler room chatter in the background, and she said "No" she was with
the "Chamber of Commerce" and was updating our listing.  I asked her if
there was a charge and she said "No".  Then she said she was updating
the directory for the "American Chamber of Commerce.  I looked up the
area code and it's in KS.  I told her we do not update info over the
phone, that she could fax her request and we would look it over and she
rang off.
