Called and nothing said, was expecting a call from Indy about a show, or it would have went to vm

Be careful if you filled out form for Publisher’s clearing house.  They are calling about a check comin your way, but need further information. They say they are from a law firm...say the name very quickly and will not repeat name of law firm. Beware!!!!

Attempted scam. Lead you to believe they are a law firm and you've won something big, yet they need more information about you.

Said Lawyer office...I won Publishers Cleaning house. Stated asking questions about my working hours. Bringing check to my home on Thursday, Oct 18th. Caller hung up when I said I worked full time.

Same as above - an "attorneys' office" claiming I just won $500k, check will be delivered on Friday.  Will I be home then?  Am I married?  Can they speak to my husband?  What time will he be home from work?  Seriously?

just received a call from this number.  same thing... law offices of Connor, Adams and Associates... Said I won $500k and will deliver on Friday 10/18.. wanted to speak to another family member in the house and if i would be home on Friday..  Said they would call back when my husband was home in 3 hours... (false info given)...  said they would call back.  I said okay... then 'BLOCKED CALLER' on my phone... Oh brother!

They called and said they were with Conor Adam's in associates and that I had come in 2nd place and then when I ask them how much is this gonna cost me they hung up total scam I Call the number and it was  A number that there voicemail had not been set up. Caller hung up. Lol busted

Received a call from this number saying I won 500k second priz from PCH and that it will be delivered on Friday oct.19.He spoke with an accent.he did not ask me for anything else just said congratulations and hang up. I called that number back and I got a recording saying the mailbox is not set up lol.Dang and I was excited for a second there.

I have an answering machine and these types of callers NEVER leave a message.

Same as above except when they asked for my husband I said he was at work and they hung up LOL

Caller called my husband said was a lawyer from Conner and associates from Indiana.  Said he won $500k.  Said check will be arriving in 2 days.  Then when later called back said we needed 6,500 for taxes.  Later changed to 1650.  Then said they would call HSBC to get them to waive taxes until check is cashed.  Then  We checked out the number that they gave us for the United States lottery and gaming commission. We think it is a scam. So sad we were looking forward to spending that money! Be careful everyone it does seem legit at 1st period but they want too much information. Weird questions that nobody would even need if you really had won a  Sweepstakes.

This number called my mother and said that she won money.  Said they were a lawyer office.  I have reported to the police as this is a scam.  Do not give out any information to these people!

Said I won 500k publishing clearinghouse scam

The caller said his name was Martin. He was Publishers. He said my mother won $500,000. My parents talked to him for a while. He was with a law firm "CONNER, ADAMS & ASS". He wanted to talk to me too. As soon as I got on phone and asked a couple questions the caller hung up. Tried calling the number back. Straight to Voice mail. The mail box has not been set up. Sad part is my mother has been doing publishers for 17 years. She is dieing of Cancer. How cruel can these people be...

Clearly a scam from the get-go. Boiler room sounds in the background. The caller--sometimes male, sometimes female; sometimes with an accent, sometimes not; from various numbers, including this one--goes "hello? hello?" and often asks for me or my husband by name, even though the call has already gone to the answering system. Don't tell me these operators are just trying to put food on the table; they know exactly what they're doing, and there is a special place in hell from them.

Caller said I won, asked some Questions and then hung up. Definitely a Scam, Report the # as soon as someone calls you from it
