318-542-4347 called 8:45 A.M. we never answer UNKNOWN or any other unrecognized calls. If the call is legit, they will leave a message. Scammers, telemarketers and solicitors will not. These annoying individuals can keep calling if they have nothing better to do, but we do not answer.

A computerized voice left a message yesterday and today that there's a warrant for me for tax evasion.
I just filed my taxes. Nothing wrong there. And if I had a warrant I don't think I'd get a phone call!

I also have a bad notation about this scammer. I paid my taxes last year and this year in March

You wouldn't you would get a letter from the IRS this is a scam!! It's completely deplorable that's theses scum of the earth people are still trying to get honest people to give them money!!! Call your local police if they keep calling you they will tell you how to deal with them.

I keep getting messages from this number for tax evading i file my taxes every year. Not me.

I'm guessing you have heard all about the mythical "yes" scam where no one has ever lost one penny, but have never heard of this real scam that has been running for at least 4 or 5 years now?

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars.  They don’t send the local police or Sheriff to arrest you.  Everything they do is done either administratively or using Federal Agents.   They don’t call you up and demand immediate payment. If you are going to be arrested, they don’t call you up to warn you.  They only issue arrest warrants for people who are really bad actors and have tried to stick them for very large amounts of money, not a few hundred or thousand.  Administratively, they send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  The IRS does not accept payment in Itunes Cards, Amazon gift cards, or any other type of payment other than cash, check, credit or debit card (from normal everyday citizens).

The US government needs to pursue and jail the crazy idiots posing as IRS agents telling everyone that a law suit has been filed by the IRS.
It is time for the FBI to get involved.

Just received the same phone call. I was honestly hoping someone would pick up lol this is a scam. If they call again I'm contacting the police

I got this call on Saturday morning, the cheater even use local police department caller id to warn me . FBI should work on this to get those rats arrested.

Several call centers in India were busted last year over this scam. They clearly did not take out all the trash.

I love to mess with them. This week I have them running in circles. When they tell me I owe money I tell them I spoke with Agent Orange last week and paid by ITunes Tax Voucher Cards. 5 cards for $2500 ($500 each). So To Throw THEM Even More I give them a verification code Tera Choda which is some Hindi vile language. They flip out that I give them all this info. One scammer cried on the phone because he was so upset I had no money for him.

When Indian scammers call me I tell them Im busy eating thier ancestors for lunch. I guess they believe cows are their ancestors  Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Received 2 calls within 2 minutes last one left message something about a debt to the IRS !! Don't think so.

This is a fake message from the IRS. Little do they know I pay my taxes lol

6/28/2017 @ 1012- Received a robotic voice message re: a claim against me. I called number and a women answered-  I asked what type of business is this, she responded the IRS, really from Louisiana. IRS will mail a letter if they need to communicate with you. What a nuisance!!!!! I feel bad for people that fall for this.

Good one!   Have to remember that one the next time they call me.

I received a partial voice mail from this number yesterday and it only said "call this number regarding case#****"  Weird thing is, the call record is gone from my phone.  Got another call today from the same number and this time I answered. It's a recording telling me to call this number as the IRS has filed a law suit against me and it's the utmost importance that I call.  Call came from Alexandria, LA
