I just received a call from this number. No voice mail was left and for me this is a long-distance number...

they have been calling my son's new cell phone for a while now, 3x/day! I finally answered it this morning and they asked for Helen. It was a live person. REALLY? HELEN? here's the reason I'm astounded--they should have heard my voicemail message on there, which says, "hello, you have reached (my little boy's name)'s voicemail. if you would like to leave a msg for (naming all the ppl in the house, none of which are named Helen), leave it here. If you are calling for anyone else, you have the wrong number".   WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY CONTINUE TO CALL, I am wondering? are these people stupid? Do they not realize that "Helen" either: a) gave them the wrong number, b) gave them the number, then changed it, or c) someone's bad handwriting looked like this number and they got it wrong?   the lady said thank you and sorry for the inconvenience, but didn't ID herself or her company name

They have just called me again today. Still long distance for them, still no voice mail for me. They are now set to a silent ringtone so they won't bother me (quite as much) anymore. Now I will just have to see more bogus missed calls on my phone but at least that's the extent of it for now.

Just received a call from this number, let it ring. No voicemail left.

They called and left no voicemail.

They call me constantly...i don't answer numbers i don't recognize...i have a new cell phone number too!!!! It is really irritating...i get them up until ten oclock at night and it makes me furious...i have to get up early and go to work...VERY ANNOYING!!!!

They call me morning to night, no message left.  What happened with the do not call list?  I am fed up with these calls.

I keep getting calls also that say you can opt out.  These are sales calls, I guess they find a way to get around all the laws.

They call all the time, morning noon and night.  Most times i let it ring, but never a message left.  Today I called back and found that the number is bogus.  Can't even call back.

Three calls a day from this number but no messages left.  When I called the number during the night to see what happens, I get a message saying "We're sorry but your call did not go through".

This number called me 19 times in the last eight days. Never left a message and when I call them back I get, "Sorry, your call did not go through. Please try again." I shouldn't be on any debt collector's list, so I wonder who is calling.

This number has called me repeatedly and left no message so I finally answered and they asked me to confirm my address. I told them I had no idea who they were and wasn't going to confirm or deny my address. I asked who they were and how I could help them and the woman (with a very heavy accent) quickly said "ok, I'm so sorry" and hung up. I tried to talk to her and she wouldn't let me - she just hung up.
I don't know what this is but it seems really suspicious to me.

they have called 5 times since yesterday, won't leave a voice mail. i have no debt, but have heard it is a debt collection agency.

319-242-8350 is from the CVE Group - debt collector.  I am not a lawyer but I believe they should follow the FDCPA guidelines and disclose who their employer is (Section 804 and 806).  They are not to tell you about a debt or why they need to talk to whomever they are trying to find but they are to disclose who they are or it could be seen as harassment under the FDCPA.  Their number is 1-800-925-6686 and fax is 1-866-261-6834.   And if they are calling a cell ph #, then perhaps you should add the cell # to the DoNotCall.gov website as they cannot call those numbers.

I keep getting phone calls from this number night and day. When I answer they hang up, never leave a message and I can't call back. I'm starting to get annoyed..

Stop calling me...stop stop stop - so annoyed!!!!
