Seen some type of claim that they're going to come to my work or home and delivery paperwork

Caller left voicemail stating this call is for Tyler Simon and they've received some faxed legal documents to deliver to him personally at home or at his work. Not once during the voicemail they left did they identify themselves or who it was they work with or for.  Left a contact number to contact them.  Here is a list of my problems with this.  1:  I'm not Tyler Simon and don't know anyone by that name. 2:  The call came from a Cedar Rapids, IA area number and I live on the other side of the state.  3:  The callback number given was 678-250-5331 which is a Georgia number.  4. This isn't the first time that I've received calls from a 319 area code trying to get ahold of Tyler Simon and the thing is I've had the number they are calling for 18 years.  Not my job to track down this Tyler Simon.

This has to be a scam!!!!  Received another call from the same Cedar Rapids, IA area number looking for Tyler Simons regarding the same ploy.  Yesterday the last name was just Simon and they left a different call back number of 205-378-2409, an Alabama number.  Still no identification of who the caller is and when I researched this new call back number there were multiple reports on multiple websites that this is a scam.  Be careful

This calling number had been quiet for about 10 days but started back up today.  Same scam ploy as before but left a Rhode Island call back number 401-214-0435.  All the other call back numbers were either Georgia or Alabama.  Still looking for Tyler Simon.

They have called my moms job her home and my cell stating they have complaints and will come to my job , this is such a scam , I reported it to bbb and left their numbers they call on different numbers and leave diff call back numbers

Just received a call from this number looking for a person who has not been employed here for over 7 years. Same ploy as others have reported. I will watch out for this number... Waste of our company time!!

Received a call on my cell looking for my sister-in-law, claiming that they wanted her to know that someone is "about to serve her some papers".  When I asked how they obtained my phone number, the individual could not answer.  When I asked who was calling or what was being served, they claimed it was illegal to tell me.  (Which defeats the whole purpose of calling a 3rd party in the first place, right?)  They then hung up on me mid-sentence.  BBB connects the phone number to CRG and Associates.  Although the call had nothing to do with me, the individual on the phone was rude, unprepared, and unprofessional.

...and BROKE THE LAW by giving you information about a third party.

They called and said they we’re going to send someone to serve papers

If anyone calls you and claims their going to serve you with legal papers it's a  collection's scam because if someone is going to serve you with papers it's going to go through your local sheriff's office and they'll just show up and serve you.

Same basic scam - didn’t identify self or company, msg re broken contract which I don’t have

Blah, Blah going to sue you, fake case number, this is your notice of being served, blah blah.  This is company looking for close to if not time-bared debts to collect.  bottom feeds of the collection agency world. IF they have your right information deny it and force them "File" a case which will never happen.
