It's another (bleeping) scammer, who's asking all sorts of real personal questions (about your wife's name, about your address, etc).  Ignore this call!

scam debt collector

All of sudden started receiving calls from whoever this is calls any time of day never leaves msg whatever or whoever they are calling for must not be that important if u can't leave a message for callback

Is the caller from 320 207 5126 a scammer?

According to a web search Midland Credit Management is making the calls.  However that does not mean that they are making the calls nor does it mean that you owe the debt to them.

I'm receiving calls from 320 207 5126 my caller ID says MCM. I have no clue why Midland Credit Management  would call me I owe Zero $ to anyone nor am I in default on any obligation. It is pure and simple un-waranted harressment.

They might simply have the wrong person.  Call back to this number got "Thank you for calling Midland Credit Management.  All calls are recorded."  Of course numbers can be spoofed so if you want to talk to them use the 800 number published on their website.  If they are calling the wrong person, tell them to stop. That should end it. If they claim the debt is yours but you don't recognize it, follow the advice from the FTC and CFPB.  Here are those links.

I've had a similar experience and letting the collector know the number was mine and not the intended person's, put an end to the calls.

You will need to find out why they are calling you.  Ignoring the problem doesn't help because they simply figure that you are dodging them and they will keep calling.

I'm trying to figure out why you needed to call them back to find out that it was Midland when there are 3 posts in this thread that said who it was and if you do a search of the phone number in both Yahoo and Google you will see that the first result is Midland stating that they are calling from this number.

Sometimes that works with the legitimate debt collectors, the rest of the time you have to send a hardcopy "Not Me" letter Certified Mail with a return delivery receipt via the Postal Service.
Neither methods work with the scam "debt collectors" because they "don't give a damn" (as Rhett Butler would say) and you can never get them to cough-up a valid name and mailing address.

The company is Midland Credit Management. They are constantly calling me and from numerous numbers. When I block one number they will call me from another number. I don't have any outstanding debit. I answered it once and it was an Indian speaking gentleman that said this call is being recorded, then said hold the line, and put a gentleman on the line who spoke English. So, not sure what is going on. To me this is a scammer, because of the numerous numbers they have called me from.

Midland uses off shore call centers.

That would be a mistake on your part since they all use numerous numbers because of people dodging their calls so that they don't have to pay their bills.  However your problem is very easily solved.

Been getting calls from these people a lot lately but they never say who they are or what they want. When they do leave a message (rarely) it’s just to say it’s “regarding a personal matter” but not who they’re looking for.

Debt collection agency, they have been calling me for a month, one call was at 5:50 AM. They never leave a message and use a new number when I block them. I have zero collections or debt.
