I have received several calls from 323-545-9517 and my caller ID lists this number and CTI. If I answer the call, no one will say anything.

I called and happened to catch the line open when they were dialing out....
"Tom Austin" and "Mike Turner" they immediately went into a pitch about 'automated trading system'.  When I interrupted them and asked if it is so good, why are they cold calling and not trading it?  "Mike" hung up.

I got the same phone calls with numerous hangups. They got through once and it was boiler room of guys with made up names, pressure selling "silver" where I would fund an account and they would buy silver for me. When I asked the guy why would I buy silver from them when I could do it on an exchange way more economically, the guy hung-up on me.

I called back and actually got through once. They were highly insulted that I would call them and got into a screaming match with me.

They know I am on the restricted call list, yet keep calling. The best thing to do with these scum is to report them to the California Attorney General's office for consumer fraud.

I try call back & no answer. I have caller ID & this phone number.

I repeatedly get phone calls from this number.  When I answer the phone there is never anyone to respond -- just dead silence.  Googling the number shows it to be a boiler room operation try to pressure sell comodities.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry (for many years) and do not want any of these types of calls.

Put a stop to these if at all possible.  Thanks.

Just got a call from some guy from this number offering me 500/month return on 2500 investment. He told me i needed a password for their site which he would walk me through. I said i'd check it out and if they want to keep me out with a password they must not be interested in me as a customer. He said they were keeping it private so only serious investors got the opportunity. I then asked why they were cold calling me if it was so exclusive...*click*. thank you google voice for allowing me to block these calls in the future

SO ANNOYING!!!!  I got calls many times from this number, always hanging up.  When I call back, I get no answer, just a series of beeps like a number dialing.  I heard several years ago where this was a scam to be able to use your long distance through piggybacking on your line.  I have no clue if this is true or not.  Somebody please stop these calls!

I did the same thing and got someone named jay reilley asking for alan hadan.  I told that miserable telephone dialing idiot to take my phone number off the computer data bank.  He said ok without knowing who the heck was calling him since he thought he was calling out.  I just trace the call and suggest everyone does.  HIT *57 then dial 1 to trace.  Three times and you can make a complaint of harassment.

I got the same "Brian Winters" and "Tom Austin" from 949-752-2980 and 949-752-2982.  When Tom gave me his callback number, he said to call 877-205-1445.  They claimed to be part of "CTI Group" and showed me a government website (sos.ca.gov) that showed the business as legitimate.  Then they took me to the autofuturestrading.com site, gave me a password, showed me their purported results.  They also wanted me to look at foremosttrading.com (which has a very similar logo to elitetrader.com, an online trader's forum, and a very stripped down website for a company claiming to have been in business for 30 years, although BBB shows their incorporation date as February 2004).

Anyway, after several hours of reading I came up with:  Cooper Trading points to autofuturestrading.com as their website, but has a different address as on the website's contact me page (per Better Business Bureau).  They have the same sales pitch ($6000 for the system, money back guarantee, foremost trading as the broker) and guarantee as Luxman Trading Concepts (detailed on BBB's site) and a BAD record for honoring their written money back guarantee, meaning you'll never see your $6000 again once you fork it over.

By the way, I'm a high school math teacher and so I decided to run the numbers.  If you earned on your meager $2500 investment what they claimed to me (an average of 15% per month) and left it to grow in your account for just 5 years, you'd have 9.5 million dollars.  In 10 years, you'd have over 41 BILLION dollars.  (Obviously there are limits to the commodities market that make this impossible, but you get the picture.)  Ask yourself: would you really give that system away for $6000 to just anyone, especially through a telemarketing agency?  Think people.

323-348-4766 is the CTI Group phone number that Brian Winters gave me.  He, too, sounded really convincing...selling S&P EMINI Index.  $6,000 to use the online trading, etc. etc.   If I lost even $1.00 on the market at the end of the year, I would get it back.  He was a smooth talker.  The average monthly returns this past year were 18%.   I'm convinced it is a scam.

Hangs up, get several call a day.

They keep calling my business number, here in Ontario, Canada - despite being asked to remove us from their list several times.

I have traded for 25 years(I know big deal) I know what can and can't be done and I know a simple SCAM when I talk to one.  These guys are just like the mafia stock scamers in NY, they are just more pleasant.  Do not go to their website and let them put a trojan on your computer!  This is asimple F@#$ing scam pure and simple.  Report them to your state FTC for violating the do not call rule or for harassing you.

they will do everything they can not to! did you fund the account with the broker? yes they all use fake names

the logans and all the stories are fake.

they will try and sweet talk you and keep you trading or give the run around.

the general manager - mark bishop or whatever name you gave is fake - he is really jim kline.

the owners are kevin symons and steve symons so ask for them by name they wont like that! they like to hide!

dispute with the credit card company, threaten to sue under thier real names maybe, the adress isnt impossible to get

They are real sweet talkers, even when I asked for public records or credentials...they had some lame answers.

I just got about my millionth call from CTI today. I dialed them back repeatedly and got a busy signal. When I finally heard their line ring once, followed by someone trying to dial out. When I said hello, the guy on their end asked for someone by name. I told him I was cling in, and wanted to know who was calling me from their number and why. He began to try to go into his sales pitch. I told him I wanted my number taken off their call list. He asked for my name. When I inquired why he needed my name just to remove my name from their call list, he hung up.

I went through the process again, and got through to again by catching them trying to call out. I asked for Jim Kline by name, having seen that name listed here. This guy hung up immediately.

I made about another ten attempts to catch them, and caught a third guy dialing out. When he asked to speak to the p[oor soul he was dialing, I responded, "How's about I speak to Kevin Symons?"

Using that name apparently works. He stuttered for a minute, then said, "Oh, you're calling in? I'm sorry -- I was calling out. Our wires must have gotten crossed."

So I told THIS guy that I've been getting repeat calls from their number, and I want to know who it is, why they're calling, and how to get them to stop. He ASSURED me (what a joke!) that they don't want to talk to people who don't want to talk to them.

To that, I replied: "Then why are you calling me at all? I'm on botht he state and the national Do Not Call lists."

He then began to give me a line about how "we don't control the lists" and that I could "be on a lot of lists." I said, "That shouldn't matter as long as I'm on the Do Not Call list. Once my number is on that list, it's illegal for you to call me."

He spluttered again and began telling me "there's a six year grace period on that, and it could take that long to get your number off all the lists." I replied, "There's a THREE MONTH grace period between lists, and my number has been on both the state and the national lists as long as they've existed."

He tried it again: "No, there's a six year grace period, and we might still call you if your number turns up on an old list because..."

Since I don;t have to be polite to somebody who's lying to me, I cut him off: "Once I've told you to remove my number from your calling list, you are legally obliged to stop calling it. I'm telling you. Are we clear on that? I've already reported you to the FCC, and if I get another call, I'm reporting you to the police and the FBI for harassment. Is that clear?"

He said, "Okay, I understand. What's your name and phone number?" (They don't have caller ID there? Hmmmmm...) I gave him my phone number and told him, "That's all the information you're getting. If I get another call from CTI, I'm charging you with harassment. Is that clear?"

He said very meekly, "Yes, ma'am." And I hung up.

It may not have accomplished anything, but DAMN! Did that feel good!

I really will report them for harassment if they call again, though. Six years, my foot.
