- LGCalled on Sunday andi missed the call wheni called back they were asking me for my account# & full ssn I asked them can they pull me up another way because I am not just giving my full info like that and you can't even tell me the reasons you could possibly be calling. If they were from billing they could've said this is the billing department or something but they kept saying they didn't know without that specific info. I politely asked them not to call me anymore. Then I find out Monday that they called my Co worker on his cell phone! I don't even know his cell phone so how they got his number is beyond me. I called credit one and they don't have any other info on me besides my address. It's confusing but they also said they don't have a branch or anything in Texas. I tried calling the # back and it's a busy signal.

- Early MorningGot a call at 8:30 e.s.t., they would not identify themselves. Went online angry and saw the posting. This reminded me that I was a day late with Credit One. Made the payment and setup text reminders so I would not be late again. Angry they woke me up, grateful they reminded me about payment that I was late for. Glad they have text notifications available. It's all in your attitude.

- American born and raised replies to Debbie BurnsThis number is NOT associated with the credit card company known as credit one. It is most likely a fishing scam. I called the real company and talked to them. This number is not associated with the real company. IGNORE these phone calls.

- JohnThis is NOT Credit One! It is a scam to get your card number. Credit One never asks for your number. Also you have a password. I have had a Credit One card for a year and they have never called me. All of these people are middle eastern scammers. Identity thieves. Don't fall for it people!!

- Pissed Off!It is Credit One and they started harassing me one week before my payment was due. I just ignored them and made my payment 3 days before the due date. Now they are calling telling me my payment was late and I am over my limit. When I tried to tell the Haji that was on the phone that I made my payment 3 days before the due date she would not let me talk or tell her I MADE my payment early and for more than the minimum and it's not possible that I'm late. So when she did take a breath I jumped in and told her where she could go and I hung up on her.

- John VahosThese scumbags called me non-stop without leaving a message. I ended up calling back to see what it was about. They claimed to be Credit One Bank. I recently acquired a card from Credit One, but this was not them! My first payment was not due for 2 weeks, but they demanded that I pay over the phone on the spot with them. I said I'll pay online and they tried lying by saying if I pay online, that there will be a $9 fee and that it takes 7-10 business days to post, so even if I paid 3 days before the due date, I would get hit with late fees. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE EVEN A SECOND OF YOUR TIME!!!! They tried their hardest to rip me off, I was transferred 3 times and I think it was the same Asian woman all 3 times.

I don't speak Spanish nor any info with my card stats it. I'm assuming it's a scam or how they got my info......I have another credit card and they don't call me at all....something isnt right. If it's creditone then my phone would say that....it said "Texas caller"

- Chad Roberts replies to Ming Chang| 1 replyI just finished dialing the customer service number on the back of my cc (1-877-825-3242) and spoke with a Credit One bank rep. I was told that the number (1-325-267-9188) was not only unfamiliar to them, but was neither listed within their directory. I don't know then who these people are working for or what their purpose is, but it does raise an eye brow; scary, to say the least.
