Caller started to speak using my name as soon as machine picked up but hung up without a further message.This is like the thrid or fourth different number for these callers. Still harassment, jail, fines, no use of electronic equipment for life.

Second call from these fraudulent charity folks, using a different number this time than last. I punched "Talk" but said nothing. After a second a woman asked "Hello, are you still there?" then hung up. The first call came Jan 25th from, as I mentioned already, a different number.

I have received so many calls from these people.  I don't answer it because one time I answered there was nothing.

I blocked my number and called this back.  I am tired of these constant calls all day long.  It said " you have reached customer service for Soldiers  for Angels"  Yup looking for money folks.

Caller ID says "Abilene TX".  It's "Corporations for Character" calling for "Soldier's Angels".  It was a robot.  It used an out of date name associated with the landline.  The robot wanted money.  It didn't respond well to my responses of "ptanga" and "bwubba wubba".  It eventually hung up on me.  Maybe next time I wll pledge a million to see if that will connect me to a human.

I got a call today. I don't answer calls I don't recognize and when they don't leave a message, I just block that number.

They are calling me too, and I'm not appreciating their rudeness. They won't answer after I speak and they won't leave a message if I decline their call. Can't someone make them stop?

Why no authority pursues these scammers illustrates to me they may be in on it(opinion).  Is "telemarketer" the standard for "scammer"?

Calls at least 2times a week. Telemarketer for sure. Calls from multiple numbers.

They called twice in the last two days.  Caller ID said Soldiers Angels.  As we NEVER donate money to people who contact us by phone, I don't know why they call and don't leave a message or, as evidenced by the previous messages, don't even respond when you answer.  Thanks to this site, I amd gettin more and more comfortable with letting the phone ring and not answering!!

These people are relentless.  I've gotten numerous calls from them starting way back on May 5th.  Other numbers they have used are 402-718-8075 (Omaha NE). 402-413-6752 (Lincoln, NE), 469-317-0181 (Dallas, TX), 385-375-6049 (Provo, UT), 913-717-5055 (Lenexa, KS) and now one from Abilene, TX.  Wish they would call when I'm here or not sleeping.  I would be happy to talk to them to tell them they are wasting their time.  Due to the numerous phone scams, doing anything over the phone is risky.  The fact that they are calling from so many different parts of the country and are badgering with the frequency of calls doesn't make them look much better than Rachel from Card Holder Services or the other one I got today offering a FREE medical alert system.  Soldiers Angels seems to be a reputable organization but whoever they've hired to do their calling is dragging them down.

I receive calls from this organization once a day. Every time, it is a different number. I know I have instructed them in the past to not call our residence. I've filed several complaints with the FTC and my state attorney general.

If you know it is one of these scammers, just pick up the phone and do not speak. Just hold down the 8 or 9 button to emit a constant tone. Do this for about 10 seconds then hang up. The scammers system may think it connected to a fax machine and remove your number from their list.
