325-400-8610

Call received 4/18, 3:25 P.M., from man who stated he was calling on 4/16, claiming to represent the IRS and threatening me with an IRS audit if I didn't respond to the call.

Received the same fake call on 4/19/16 from 325-400-8610.  They have foreign accents, suspect Indian.  I called the number back and they insist they are IRS and are full of crap.  This is very annoying.and how can they get an untraceable number and be able to operate these scams?

Read up on call spoofing and see. Hard to combat jokers from India and Pakistan, but easy to stop them. See what you hear if the callers can neither leave a message, or get a live voice. I may have a bogus IRS agent calling me, but they can neither talk to me or leave me threatening messages since they're greeted with no answer at all. After enough times of this, (if they continue trying to get me) they get tired of calling. Numbers with no answer eventually become worthless for them.

Man just called, said we have not responded to letters which have been sent, so now it is urgent that we call them to take care of the problem.  It actually sounded like a recording and must have said urgent several times in the message.  SCAM!
