threat of IRS tax collection and legal arrest if they are not contacted in 24 hours - suspected tax scam. Do NOT reply.

The IRS never contacts you via a phone call. It never threatens legal action in a recorded message.  It never threatens via a recorded message to send people to arrest you. T-Mobile flagged this call. I did not answer. Yet that's the message they left. And if you do call back... Do not give any information... Not even your name!

A person leaves a message stating he is from IRS and you owe back taxes and may be arrested if you do not call back.  When you call back a person with a foreign accent answers and if you question anything he just hangs up.

Scam computerized voice call trying to get you to call them back or get arrested or go to federal court.
Guess it's a slow day in Nigeria for the scammers.

Left recorded message threatening arrest if call is not returned.
Don't call them at the 339 #. IRS never leaves messages or threatens arrest over the phone.
Call the IRS 800 # if you have any questions.
