    Caller ID says "SPAM? VOLUNTEER".  They leave no message.

    I have received several calls from this number.  Once they called twice in 0 seconds; this is almost always a red flag indicating a SCAM.

    Another site labels it a robocall and has a recording.  They ask for you by name and have an American accent.

    I picked up the last time they called.  It was a robot with an American accent.  They asked by name for a female in the house.  I said "yes".  They said they would try again later and indicated that they had something to do with firefighters.

    Almost certainly this is some kind of phony firefighter's fund.
