They left a pre recorded message, simply stating "this is to let you know the IRS is filing suit against you. Please call back at this number." Some type of scam as that's definitely not how the IRS operates.

I received the very same voice mail message.

Received same call about being sued by IRS. I hope nobody falls for this stupid BS or ends up calling back and getting a huge international phone bill.

I work for the IRS and definitely recognized this as a SCAM....please don't call them back. The IRS does not call and leave you messages like that.

Ten minutes ago, same recorded SCAM message supposedly from the IRS... from these 'sophisticated' fraudsters. Pathetic really.

This is an IRS scam.

Same as all the above.  I called back and a kid answered then hung up. I called again and a middle eastern guy answered.  i didnt answer his questions, but he knew my address.  I refused to co operate,  He told me to go to the court house.  SCAM, most definetly.

Major scam. Just called the number back and he wanted additional information from me, like my full name and number. I said never mind and hung up. Not playing into that. The IRS does not operate this way AT ALL.

This happened to me today, also. I didn't call back.

I got this call too, obviously a scam.  If a government agency, especially something like the IRS, was going to sue you, you would have received more prior notice than a robocall- letters and so on.

Got this call twice today - called back the first time, and asked'"who is this?" and they hung up.  They haven't answered since.

Don't waste your time.  Just hang up.  Hopefully it will stop soon.
