I received this call also a few minutes ago. It was scam call for a online payday lone company:

It states: "Congratulations you have been approved for a loan that you applied for online. I am a platinum level customer and that I can pay off holiday bills go to www.holidaybills.com and get upto $1000 and it expires 24 hours.

"Congratulations you have been approved for a loan that you applied for online."

One more for the blocked list!

Just received a call from this number about a 1/2 hour ago. It was just after 8:00 am. I live in AZ and work until past midnight. I answered the phone because my husband is in the hospital and may need surgery after more tests this morning. All I heard was some freaking loud music I said hello several times and just hung up the phone. I don't like it when people wake me up for NO REASON. I may hurt you. HA, HA.....

Not sure is coinsidence or not.. received an email from supportmeaotfik@supportsecurityzev.net and about the same tima a call from 916-222-7777 (internet search is a Taxi company) probably spoofed #.

the eamil subject line is Your payment is ready ID HNX5663H and read attached message for more info.. ummm no not going to read that.. spam it..

THIS IS A TELEMARKETER CALL SAYING "ATTENTION HOME OWNER" ...............SOMETHING ABOUT A LOAN.  I HUNG THE PHONE UP QUICK.  THE CALLER ID LIST THIS NUMBER AS AIRPORT TAXI SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO CA.

Scam call pretending to be the Internal Revenue Service, claiming an enforcement action is pending.

Said there was a pending law suit and it was hard to understand the man with the heavy accent. It is a SCAM!!!

Just received a call from this number,. saying they "Office Steven White" from the IRS for some lawsuit filed against me.  Sounded digitally recorded. SCAM

This appears to be a scam. Same # has left 2 message for my wife claiming it is the IRS and some claim he been filed against her name. Hope there is a warm place in hell for these scammers.

Same thing 10 minutes ago.
And yes, a special place just for them.
How many people get scared.  They should be held responsible for any stress or heart problems they cause.  One day they will be caught and stopped.

FAKE IRS NUMBER, THE IRS WILL NEVER CALL YOUR PHONE, THEY ONLY SEND LETTERS.

Special place in hell indeed!!!  These a******* left a voicemail a few hours ago in a VERY hostile/aggressive male voice about "Now, don't try to disregard this message!  The only reason behind (unintelligible) call is to infirm you about a lawsuit which has been filed on your name.  So give us a call back as soon as possible."

Um, "infirm" me?   Lawsuit filed "on my name"?   Idiots.

Good thing I knew to do a Google search on the phone number!   I feel so badly for those who get suckered into these scams.  :(  I know better, but it still made MY heart race a bit, before I calmed down and thought rationally.  Why couldn't I have gotten the NICE scam message, from this exact same phone number, congratulating me on getting a fake loan?  LMAO
