    A guy who claims to be "officer David Peterson" with the "IRS Tax Claim Unit" left a voicemail for my wife.  He had a thick accent, was rude and used threatening language.  This is an obvious scam.  If there was a real tax problem, the IRS would have sent official written correspondence.  If you get a voicemail like this, please do what I did and report it.  Scum like that should rot in prison.
