"Please press 1 to update your free business listing" also. Pressed 1, then hung up and blocked them, to enjoy hearing the futile follow-up calls to try and scam me...

They just called. Didn't even navigate through the auto attendant on all my lines. BLECH!

sales garbage! called them to be placed on the "do not call list" just get a repeat message that never ends.

google does not call you, they have ZERO connection with goggle . .. but they will lie to you and say they are
a  " google data provider " . . .yeah sure [***] clowns , I am too .. . when i BUILT my own FREE LISTING at google
these people are trying to take over your free listing, with their own email . .then charge you $100 a month fee

for something google/yahoo/bing provides for . .. drum roll please..... IT IS A FREE LISTING, do it yourself !

I tricked the "cold call seller" into giving me a phone number to call them back at later,,, by claiming I was busy, but very interested in talking to them,,,   lve been calling them back at 1 949 2022133 repeatedly harassing the schitt out of them, demanding to speak to a manager... they are very nefariousness and phony in nature, they refuse to take heed everyone should blow up they're line @ 1 949 202 2133 and raise hell like I have been doing

I THINK MOST PEOPLE ARE MISSING WHAT PLACES LIKE THIS DO ?
they are calling to inform you not sell you any thing . it's called a loop hole in the system .
this lets places like this call you even when your on the DNCL .
then the DNCL does not apply to them calling businesses .

is it a scam well yes we all know that !
they told me they will place me at the top of the 1st page on googles listing .
that way people looking will see my business 1st .
ok so say there are 10 businesses and say we all fell for there line of crap thinking my business will be the 1st listing on the 1st page on google at the top of the page .
this is there selling point as to why I should pay them to list my business on google thru them .
so just who is the business that will be listed at the top of the 1st google page of we all paid to have our business listing there ?
when I ask them that they hung up on me .
now you can your self pay a very small fee and do your own listing with google at less then 1/4 the cost of what this place was looking to charge my business to do the same thing .

Unknown caller to one of our cellphones.  If these are the google-scam people, they had also called our landline a few days ago [I don't recall the caller number].

Called my cell and left no message.  I recently launched my business website and have been inundated with these stupid calls.
When I started my business I also went to a search engine optimization workshop where I learned some great things.  The one thing that stuck most was the fact that Google DOES NOT CALL people.  They don't need to because they already know where your site ranks.  If you want to pay for an ad listing at the top, you call them.

So I don't know who called, but since others got a call from them, I will watch for the number in the future.  This is my business phone and don't want to accidentally block potential customers.
