Recorded "urgent" message about my electric bill. Seems like a scammer, since the DNC list prevents legit companies from calling.

ALSO, I won't answer when it's a strange caller ID like this.

Hangup call from this number today at 2:48pm.  Caller ID was stupid -- it just said "3603226280"  Well duh, but WHO ARE YOU?

Call came in at 3:38 pm California time on 1-2-2013.  No msg left on ans machine.  Caller ID reads "ELECTRIC BILL". Our number is on the federal DNC list. Redialed number and received an automated voice system giving instructions for removal of my number from their call list.  Followed prompts and received automated msg that my number will be removed from their call list within 24 - 72 hrs. Will report if there is another violation of the DNC from this number, or similar.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.
