received a call from this number but no message

I called the number and it is from a software company called Leadsmatic. combine all your media into a single click.

Another typical idiot telemarketer wasting my time. I answer the call to dead air, wait a few seconds and still nothing. [***].

I have a little fun with them.  I have VOIPO, inexpensive, but it lets me block several ways. Since they won't stop, I just forward their number right back at them and in some cases it causes their system to go into a Loop. Cool.

Telemarker- for Microsoft, and Microsoft does not call you for a virus on your computer, they have violated the do not call list

I agree.  Microsoft will let you know via your task bar lower right on your screen.  If you have Microsoft Security Essentials
they will go after the virus immediately.  How would some clown in any number of foriegn countries know you have a virus
of any kind.   One post indicated he does not even have a comuter but had a virus.  Delete.

Got a partial recorded message on my voice mail.  Caller unknown.  Purpose unknown.

They called and hung up on me when I answered.

they called again today. Let it ring 4 times then hung up. I'm guessing they don't want anyone to answer their calls.

Received call at 4:55 pm. I answered with our firm name.
Caller with foreign accent: I wanna talk to the owner.
Me: What name are you calling?
Caller: The owner.
Me: That's not a name. Who are you calling?
Caller: Last name. First name.
Me: And which is the first name?
silence
Me: Hello
Caller: Are you gonna put me through to the owner?
Me: What is the owner's first name?
Caller: You don't know what your owner's first name is?
Me: [Thinking - I don't have an owner]. I know his name. I want to know if you do.
Caller: I don't want to talk to you. [Hangs up]
Me: Well that's good, because I really don't want to talk to you either.
And then I blocked the number.

Dorkos called me also today, same ole, same ole.

Dorkos called me again today, at 1:50PM, then some other telemarketers called a few minutes later.

these robo calls likely come from overseas, so our DNC list do not bother with these crank calls.
DO not press anything, as it tells them they have a good number, and its sold to their crooked friends, who will also call you forever.
Do not answer calls you do not recognize.
And do not buy anything from telemarketers. They would not continue calling us if folks keep buying from them.

Yep, just got this call, and had virtually the same experience as written above by Wary Consumer (April 13).  [***] hung up when asked where he was calling from.  Um, I REALLY, REALLY want to do business with someone who hangs up on me. NOT.
I feel sad for the desperate people who hire on to companies like this one, supposedly named "Leadsmatic".

very rude!! Can't understand a word they say, and the same person answers the phone in 10 different accents. They hang up on you immediately. THEY CALL ME CONSTANTLY AS IN 10 TIMES OR MORE DAILY!

Indian sounding man asked to speak with the owner. Said he was calling from google.I am the owner of a small business but I had some fun with him.  I asked him how I could direct his call and he said he wanted to speak to the owner and so I asked him to hold and then I played him a nice rendition of As Time Goes By" and let him hang on for about 10 minutes and then I came back on the line and asked him he was still waiting for the owner to pick up and he said yes so I put him on hold again and then hung up on him.
