360-339-9740

I sent three text messages to other known numbers but somehow my phone shows that I texted to 1-360-339-9740. I have not received a text from this number....just wondering why my texts messages are going to this number.

My phone did the same thing yesterday! Please if anyone knows what is going on, let me know!

In a text conversation with my wife on Friday morning, Sep 18, 2015, only her responses were grouped with the mysterious 360-339-9740.  I only noticed this odd behavior when looking at the cloud backup of my text conversations.   There was no evidence on my phone that this happened.

I had the same situation.  I was texting my friend and bf and the texts grouped to this same phone # on Sept 18th.

I had texts I had sent to different people grouped together in a single text message that shows I sent it to 360-339-9740 on Sept. 18. I dialed the number but there was never a connection and the call dropped.   Any answers for this mystery?

I texted to several known numbers on Sept 18th and also received a message that a copy of my message when to 1-360-339-9740.  Have no idea who this is or how this happened from my phone.

I've just discovered that my Samsung galaxy S5 under the Set Message Center, reflects an unknown number which has been changed since I first purchased my cell phone number. This is an unknown number to me and well the zip is not of my area, so I was prompted to research the reflected number listed as 360-339-9740. Has anybody gotten any feed back as to where this number could have come from? I discovered this unknown number during an attempt to educate and familiarize myself in order to update phone settings.

I myself noticed this number in my text msg. settings yet I just had factory reset my phone. I have ATT for my wireless provider how about you?

i have att. 360 339 9740 seems to be att message center. i deleted the number restarted the phone and the number came back

Yep. I had this number stored for research and I was an att customer on a business account with "baby momma" the account is in her control. My phone was acting very strangely, and I'm led to believe she's been eavesdropping on my personal affairs.

My theory (since it is listed under my "Set Message Center" as well), is that this number is where our texts are sent/stored since we have a cloud backup of texts on our Samsung phones.  It doesn't appear to be the number we are texting from, but rather the number associated with our phones that is storing our texts.  I don't feel it is of any harm as we know our texts are being surveilled.

I found that number +13603399740 in the message center settings of my cell phone. I removed it for fear of malicious software and replaced it with my own number. Seems to be ok. AT&T Said there was no good reason for that number to have appeared there.

I also am getting the same number for not all text messages but just some , when I research the number it's coming up my Samsung key board . I have disabled the application and waiting to see if this will fix the situation.  From what I'm reading in all of the comments its happening with Samsung phones , if you have the app I would say try to force stop it and see if it stops . I will post again if this has fix the issue on my phone.

I'm having same issue at&t. The number has changed.

mine are as well it has this number listed in my messages settings as message center # and my phone will send a text and add half of a random other spam text in it its weird

same with me who is this and how is this happening
