I picked up this call and was told I have an unpaid traffic ticket in Thurston County from 2013. The Ticket is accurate, however it was paid 3 years ago. I said I would look into it. He said he will give me three days before calling back. It was over a month between calls. I am trying to call Thurston to verify this information that my ticket has been paid. Spam senses are tingling with this one.

Names Moses and kept calling talking about unpaid physical therapy bill. Called corporate office of my therapist and I had no unpaid balance. He called back and asked for documents of my zero balance. Told him I don't have to give him [***] and he hung up. Not a professional definitely a scam dirtbag.

Two voice mails today from this number, "This is Lori, please return my call, 360-528-2034". Blocked the number on the first call but the voice mails still come through (and since I haven't lived in Thurston county for many years, it can only be a scam.)

This number has been calling and leaving me messages for months with, "This is Lori, please return my call. 360-528-2034". But tonight, it showed the same number as "GCI Olympia" on my caller ID and in the message she said "This is Lori, you have an account with Grim Collections. Please call back." It's blocked but it still goes to voicemail; I find it amusing because I haven't lived in the Olympia area for over 15 years and surely if I had anything in collections, it would appear on my credit report. Definitely a scam, trying to scare people into calling back.

Grimm Collections or GCI is located in Washington State.  I don't know where people get the idea that debt collectors only collect on debts from that state or from people who only live in that state.  You would have to talk to them to find out what they want and then you could proceed accordingly.  Or do nothing and enjoy the calls.  Your choice.

I strongly suspect this number, 360-528-2034, is a scam.  According to other people noted above, the calls started out using male voices, at least one with a foreign accent.  They've switched to "Lori" with an American accent, probably thinking people will be more trusting.  And, sorry, I don't trust "BigA" immediately above who seems to be trying to instill confidence in this number.  Don't think I'll take him up on it.

The point being, scammers call using fake numbers with the same area code as you to try and get you to answer. If you really had an account in collections, it would show on your credit report, genius. Not too bright, son. How about you talk to them and let us know what you find out.

Talk about being "not too bright". Clearly you didn't bother to read the post you replied to. And why are you even in this thread? If you got a call from this phone number, why didn't you post about your experience with it? That IS what this website is for, you know.

Well, unless you happen to live in the 360 area code this call is from Washington State.  How had you been capable of actually understanding my post you would have noticed that I said this:

Grimm Collections or GCI is located in Washington State.
Wow!  Look at that the company is located in Washington State and the call is coming from Washington State.  Pretty coincidental isn't it?

Not necessarily there "genus".  Perhaps the original creditor never reported it and some collection companies hold off on reporting it until they  can determine whether they can collect the money first.  The reason for that is that once it is on there it is on for 7 years and credit bureaus do not like it when they are asked to remove something like that.

If they were calling me I certainly would.  However they seem to be calling you.  Maybe you forgot to pay a bill?  Although most of your post reeks of a "stick your head in the sand" kind of post which is mostly put up by employees who don't want to see their bosses sued.

Don't.  I don't really care since I am not the getting the calls.  Plus I don't see anywhere in my post where I tried to "instill confidence".  Try not to put words in people's mouths.  I only reported the truth.  If you can't handle the truth, well that is your problem.
