- B-Edwards replies to AHMight be a scam but that is not how the One Ring Scam works.
Oddly enough, the One Ring Scam works by one ring, then disconnect. No message left. The whole point is to get YOU to call back to find out what you missed. The FOMO does the rest.
You were hit with a plain vanilla, garden variety, brown paper bag, dull as dirt scam call. If you are still all FOMO, and can't stand the idea of not knowing who called, call them back, I am sure they will be happy to keep calling and will be even happier to arrange for you to be scammed out of money. - MJ WojciechowskiThe caller ID showed my local neighborhood Walmart pharmacy 7023951240) was calling. I wasn't able to take the call so it went to voicemail. When I checked my phone the written message was: "This message could not be reliably transcribed. Click here: 13608424000 to listen to full voice message." I did not click on it but blocked and deleted it.
