- 123***reportRobo calls. Calls originated from India and one other location that could not be verified. Calls appear to be routed to an undisclosed Texas phone number in Woodsboro, No office or connected business. Maybe a virtual phone/office. I contacted the authorities and they are looking into the matter as they have had many complaints about this group and other offshore scammers that may be connected to a larger syndicate. The phone number appears to be from an international ring of identity thieves scamming US residents and citizens. Obviously phishing for data. Report this to number.
- Caller: Offshore scam.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Illegal Anonymous Business Practices| 2 repliesThis is an anonymous caller debt collection scamming fraud. A company operating illegally that does not identify themselves fully and tell you the name of the company.. The scammers phish for information and then try to coerce you into paying a debt that has nothing to do with you. Often they obtain information that is stolen from a credit report or as a result of identity theft. Or someone make the mistake of stupidly talking with the scammers over the phone and may record everything you say and use it to steal your privacy, identity and money. Sometimes they scam a person with a debt so old you or whoever's name they stole or purchased is already in the grave and there is absolutely no legal obligation for anyone to pay, because the statute of limitations has run its course..Time barred, but the trick is they get you to reset the clock when you talk with them and they scare you into paying something to these scammers. Never respond, never tell them anything. Don't answer or hang up if you make the mistake. Your own mouth and fear may reset the clock and suddenly you have assumed debt that is actually not yours and not owed by anyone. Never give any personal information. Not even your name. They buy fake or actual debt for pennies on the dollar. Much of it from offshore partners in other countries that they have arranged some scam operations with. This is pure harassment and theft of decent citizens' time and money. Do not respond to these scammers or call this number back or any number associated with Cedars Business Services dba Cedars Financial.. Ignore their calls and block them. Report this company as they operate stealthily to trick you into paying something that you do not owe. Nothing to do with you. Contact an attorney to report the harassment and what you have to do to sue Cedar Business Services and collect money from them. Most of the time you will get a settlement for their invasion and violation of rights and they will have them pay your legal fees. Type Cedars Financial or Cedars Business Services and lawsuits on your search engine, you will find plenty. They use many phone numbers many of them from 818 numbers. Call a lawyer and file a complaint.

- MikeHuntleton replies to Anonymous CallsThere hasn't been enough information to conclude this is a debt scamming operation, but it does fit the profile. The continuous posts of mis-information in a vendetta style ranting also doesn't help to determine the validity of it being a scam outfit. It becomes pretty obvious when the same person posts, even if they change usernames, that they are out to make them look worse than they might have experienced.
The idea of this website is to report about your caller and let others figure out if their caller is of the same company or telemarketer, scammer, etc. This web site is for sharing caller experiences and not a review or authoritative reporting site. It can be useful for data collecting of criminals to allow someone to make an actual report to an authority such as the FTC, FCC, FBI, etc. There is a link over to the right, "Where to Report Phone Crime". -->
People come here to mainly find out who might have called them, while others return to post about an unknown/unwanted caller.
If you have evidence of what the scammers, telemarketer, debt collector, etc. is doing illegally to people utilizing a phone number, you can post that to help inform others about the criminal activities, but ranting with opinionated... speculations is not the same thing.
Exposing criminals is always permitted, but mere 'finger pointing' without something to back it up is not acceptable when it is spammed repetitively......especially when its by the same person. - fozicalled last week called again tonight clicked them off knew it was a scam blocked it
- Caller: scammer
- Tygerkat replies to AmritaHow in the world did you connect a phone call from this number with having a credit card hacked? And how can a credit card be hacked?
