    I believe the number is spoofed, but regardless the person calling pretended to be the "US Sheriff" calling about an arrest...  I started laughing when he got to that point of the scam.  I asked, "does this really work?"  He paused and I could hear him gasp.  I repeated the question again, but added, It's OK.  I'm really just curious."  He hung up.  I'm still laughing.
