I've been receiving weekly calls on my cell phone from this company, which I haven't answered since I didn't recognize the number.  (I finally looked up the number today.)  While I've placed orders on line with Omaha, I certainly don't recall giving out my cell number.  I also find it "curious" why they never leave a message.  In any event, I'd like these calls to stop.

It is Omaha Steaks, they call all the time, and I finally answered and it was someone from there with "special offers" bs.

I am being harassed by Omaha Steaks.  They call me like 3 times a day.  My husband and I have both asked to be taken off the list and they do, only they call back in like 6 weeks in the same stalker way.  I am so frustrated I will NEVER buy from Omaha Steaks again - EVER!!!  Why do they do this to a potential customer I'll never understand!

These people don't take no for an answer.  I told them to take me off their list because they continue to call.  It did no good.  They still call.  I hang up on them.

I missed a call from the same number (402)593.7107 and it is Omaha Steaks.  I called back and they took me off the calling list.  They were incredibly nice about it and apologized for the inconvenience.

Ive never ordered from Omaha. They started calling my 15 year old son's cell phone. When I talked to the guy at Omaha he insisted they do not buy phone number lots and that they only call those that order from them. He tried to feed me a story that phone companies will reassign phone numbers etc etc which is fine but in this case my son has had this cell number for over two years now.

No, you're an idiot.  People now have the ability to have any name or number display on your phone's Caller Id.  This program is available with telephone service through your computer system.  It should be illegal because anyone can pose as anyone they want to, misrepresenting themselves.

The number is for Omaha Steaks. If set up an online account with them, you can simply sign in and update your contact preferences so they do not call you any more. It's easy. I would venture to guess the default was you wanted to be called for special sales. But you can update that without ever swearing off Omaha Steaks.

I ordered from Omaha for a gift last Christmas.  The calls were non stop so I asked them to take me off their list.  They finally did after I asked two different times.  I just got the first call today after being Omaha Free for 6 months.  Must be looking for some holiday business.  The emails that I had them cancel are starting back as well.  I told them that I didn't even eat meat and it was a gift so I don't need any thing else. The rep then tried to push seafood on me.  I can't take another season of this harrassment.

I also received weekly calls from this number.  It is Omaha Steaks.....I ordered from them last year but told then person when they called this year that I was not ordering in 2009....still call.

Received a call from 402-593-7107.  No message on my machine. Called back and discovered it was Omaha Steaks.  Do order from them.  Get ton's of mail.

It is Omaha Steaks- I asked them to take me off their calling list and they can never seem to find my number.  I remember answering and the offers were no better than the e-mail, so wish they wouldn't use up my mobile minutes......

You can go to their website, select the "My Account" link, then select "Contact Preferences" and change your phone contact preference to "No, I don't want to hear about special sales by telephone".

Once a company is known for ringing their customers phones off the hook like Omaha, scammers will than use the number to spoof themselves.  Of course when you call the number you get Omaha b/c it's their number.  Think of it like a mask - calling from one number and displaying another.

As far as Omaha - they're not very quick to remove people either.
