I don't know the company, but got a voicemail saying it was the last attempt to reach me before needing to go before a grand jury, it's from Nebraska, I live across the country.

Message saying from US Treasury saying final attempt to reach me.  It a bunch of bullcrap.

Got a call from this number this morning saying they was putting warrants out for my arrest bcuz they did an audit on me and shows that I owe them 3,518.00 and would accept payments! Only to find out from my bf that its all a scam and are doing it to LOTS of people! Better not b calling my phone back or they are getting a big F off from me!

Stated that there was a law suit filed against me for tax evasion. This was distressing.

It can be distressing if there's an answer, which is what they're hoping to. No kind of answer if possible, no worries, either, other than pests possibly stressing over who to try and rip off.

Just got a call from this number show Nebraska, I am in NJ. It said message from IRS for final settlement of tax money I owe. Damn I am a W2 person and never claim anything.

I got the same message but when I tried to call back my phone could not connect.

Received call saying they are from IRS - bogus call!!!

I got one too! Saying this is the "last attempt" or there would  be legal action taken for a Federal Offence.... Such crap. They  play off people's fear and try and rip them off. So sad, don't we have enough to deal with already?!?!

I did not answered.  No message left.

Fake IRS.  We dealing with  real IRS at this days and they contact by letter and also if u have any questions you call them to Trenton # if you reside in NJ.  Nebraska # is fake but not just ignore them please report to not let them get any victim. Thanks.

I have reported this number to the IRS in addition to 386-269-4464 and 844-434-0123.  All of these have the same message that a criminal charge has been filed and to call them immediately to remedy. The identify themselves as being from the IRS or the US Treasury.

Received  call  claiming to be the treasury depth. Tried to call back no answer.  Scam????

They called and said that it's there last attempt to reach me and there a fedural busy.if I dnt return the call.I will go to jail.

These guys keep switching numbers.  I've gotten the same thing from 4 different numbers now.  Others used 253-656-4246, 206-823-3160, 509-233-4086, and 509-233-4141.  All messages ask me to call back regarding a case file.  Usually it's the same number that called me, but this time I was dialed by 253-656-4246 and it asked me to call back to 402-835-6280.

Same thing happening here.  I seriously doubt the IRS would contact anyone in this manner.  Several numbers used 253-656-4246, 402-835-6280 just beware.  IRS knows where I am, come get me or leave me alone.

They better stop calling.  Anyone know who i can report them to?

5:30pm Central. Same scam as others reported. Last attempt to reach me, federal judge, etc. etc. Caller ID shows Columbus, Nebraska. I know it's a scam because the IRS doesn't call people. They send letters. I called back so that I could let them know I knew it was a scam but the call won't connect. They only want to deal with people who answer the phone.

I called back and when the man answered he said IRS and,I asked him what this is about cause I got a missed call and he hung up!

Did not answer, just hung up on them.
