they call while i am at work and wait till answering picks up then hang up not leaving a message

Mortgage/ Debt Releif Scam Company looking for foreclosure clients

Guy calls and says "christo'? i said no and he just hung up. Pff sick of these [***]

Using a pseudonym for my name of course.  Just got a call from 402-835-6293 at 8:45 ET.  Answered it without my glasses on to see the caller ID screen.  A male human caller asked "Are you Susan"?  to which I replied, "Who are You?"  "Who are you and why do you want to know?"  and he again asked "Are you Susan".  I told him he was rude and wanted to know who was calling.  He hung up.   Lesson learned is always have those reading glasses handy and use them before pushing the talk button.

Receive multiple calls, usually back to back as I don't answer them, about four days apart.  This pattern has been going on for weeks.  I just ignore them.  No message is left.

This guy has been calling me for over a year the first time they wanted 3000.00 to represent me in a home modification with my bank.  They would call 3 to 4 times a week. Onetime I got into it with one of the and got some pretty foul language from him and he offered suggestion as to what I could do with my mother and my children.  
The best I can figure out is if you subscribed. To one of the credit watch companies like credit score.com
It is owned or taken over by Trans Union and they are selling your information to these scammers.  Worst part is when they do an inquiry it hits your credit report.
