Alberta Health Services would not have an unlisted number.

Alberta health services is correct.  Just received a call from this number confirming an appointment.

My call was from 4039558999 but actually 4039558146 the Canadian diabetes association.

It's Calgary Health Services - it's their central number that is used to call patients to remind them of appointments

Alberta Health Services number.  Message was left regarding an appointment.  Call-back number was different, so this number is likely a trunk number or main switchboard number.

This is a YEAR OLD message you replied to.  Arlene will NOT see your message - she has nothing to do with 800notes!!!

Arlene just called me on Oct 31,2014 wanting the results of my TSH which is way too low. She said to call her when I got home, she would then have my new results from my last test on Sat. Nov 1, 2014.
She knew I would e home and she would call as they are worried about my very low TSH results.

This number is from Alberta Health Services. Usually an appointment reminder ( mine was from my rheumatologist). It is a number for OUT GOING CALLS ONLY ! You can't call back on this number. If you miss the call, call the office number of whatever Doctor you have an upcoming appointment with or having seen recently that may be calling with test results, etc.

Got this call from this number tonight, too. Left me voicemail saying that it was from Alberta Healthcare wanting to update my record to the hospital database because I was referred by my family doctor to a clinic in the  region. The problem was she did not state my name, nor my doctor's name, nor the location or the name of the clinic. I am really skeptical because Alberta health should have already had my record up-to-date. I am not calling back this number.

In this case 403-955-8999 was from a pool of (AHC?) numbers being used by "The Tomorrow Project" (a cancer cohort study).  Thanks to 800notes I added the number to my phone with a more meaningful name than UNKNOWN and was able to pick up their second call.  I suggested they get a real phone number.  I like many people screen numbers based on Call Display data.

They were calling to follow-up on a recently completed survey.

Getting daily calls this week, no messages being left, am unaware of any medical appointments needed or upcoming. Makes no sense that calls are coming from AHS or other medical services. One would assume they would want to identify themselves and make it possible for patients to reconnect with them.
