Hung up

My 5 year old answered the phone and someone with a thick foreign accent asked him his name. My son handed me the phone so I asked who it was when getting on the phone-there was a very long pause before the caller said a name I couldn't understand and that he was calling from AT&T/DirecTv. I hung up immediately.

Same as OT.  I answered this suspicious call that came in on my ATT cellphone.  Obvious boiler room.  After a pause, a man with a thick east Indian accent told me his name and read an offer from ATT for existing customers to get some kind of bundled internet and other stuff service.  Probably a legitimate "established business" call -- but who needs interruptions on their cell phone?

I told him to take my number off all their "offers" lists and it sounded as if he would comply.  We'll see.  Sounds like ATT might have hired an outside marketer who may be playing a bit loose with the rules.  I'm sure I've told ATT never to call with any sales pitches before, but it was a long time ago.

This number came up on my cell phone and I ignored it. I paid to search it on Spokeo and no name came up. I googled it and then I saw this site where this number has called a lot of people and it's a scam.

Called my landline twice, left no message. Unlike others here I do not have an ATT account. Obvious spam so I will block.

This number called my ATT cell phone yesterday regarding an ATT/DirecTV offer.  I hung up after explaining I was not interested.  Now today they have called my cell every hour which I refuse to answer. They never leave a message.

Called me 3 times in the passed 24 hours. They said they are with AT&T. They asked me how I was doing.  They didn't say what they wanted. They called me back 4 hours later and all I hear was laughter. I have no account with AT&T.

Same Crap -- Different Day. Saw on the "Caller ID" "Name Not Available", so I picked up in silence to see if anyone would speak, someone finally did, then hung up. Now they're BLOCKED !!! Game-Set-Match ......

Called several times after 9pm claiming to be ATT. asked repeatedly to stop calling & waking up children. No effect.

Well, of course not. Why would a scammer care about waking your children or even that you don't want them to call?Just block the number or the entire area code if you don't know anyone in it.

someone from ATT about my account.  I don't have ATT.  Blocked the number and a few minutes later got a call showing caller ID as ATT from a different number.  Didn't answer

Didn't answer. Blank msg. Either telemarker or scam.

Another call from this number. Obviously either a scam or telemarketer.

Keeps calling, but I have it blocked. Don't know what they want as I don't answer the phone for unknown numbers.

ATT calling my ATT phone with special offer from India.

This number called 5 times today.  Left no message but the caller ID said Atlanta.  I picked up on the last call and it is obviously voice activated because I did not say a word and there was no one there.

Called claiming to be from att, thick Indian accent coming from a room full of people saying the same thing in the background. Obvious scam

Caller did not respond when I answered. The they hung up!
