This is a collection agency that used illegal means to talk to me by having one of their agents who was working in my State Representative office, lie to get my SSA number and two seconds later I receive a call from portfolio recovery even though I told them not to call me about an illegal debt over ten years old. They are trying to collect an illegal debt from the Wells Fargo Credit Card Scam.

I am confused.  You say that they have an "agent" working in your State Representative's Office?  Why would they need to do that?  They could simply pull your credit report and get all the information they need.  You say that you "told" them?  Did you do it properly?  Maybe instead of fantasizing nefarious things like the "agent" story you should use the link I previously posted to learn how to make the calls stop permanently?  Or not, your choice.

Scammer debt collector blocked

No message left.  Sounds like scammer debt collector.

They just call and hang up - repeatedly. Have yet to speak to a person. After reading these posts, have blocked them.

Called. Me about 849 pm no message. I will block the number and will not call back. Thus is a help here
