Actually, it was a text message from this number stating that I had a new "bill" and guiding me to "patientnotebook.com". An internet search indicates the site to be some sort of medical billing company. Entering the full URL lead me to a login page asking for DOB and Zip Code. Entering the information yielded and error page. Calling the number directly yielded a weird voice message and a disconnect. So, my overall conclusion is HIGHLY SUSPECT.

That site went up 12/23/08 and for some odd reason is set to expire on 7/1/22.  It is registered to ZirMed Inc. out of Kentucky.  Dun & Bradstreet has them listed in Louisville and as a software company.  Looks like they produce payment software of some sort called Waystar.  Around a 50/50 review of employees on Indeed.com

Website belongs to ZirMed, Inc. in Kentucky.  They collect money for medical facilities.  I'm not sure where this whole text the bill thing came from though.

I got the same text message and almost followed the link but it seemed very suspicious.

Received a text “ you have a new bill from North East Health Services” and asking to click to view bill www.patientnote.com. I called Northeast directly and there wasn’t any bills. SCAM

Good to know, I got the same message! I've been burned once with something similar so I'm really leery of any text notifications now

I received a bill from this number.  Definitely a scam.  Had my name completely misspelled as well as the incorrect address online

I got a message from this number saying that I have a bill from Inland Imaging. , and to check a link. I did not click the link. It looks suspicious.

I also received a text message from this number saying that I had a bill from AMG Diagnostic and Radiology and referring me to patientnotebook.com.  An internet search did not reveal any company called AMG Diagnostic and Radiology.

I just received the same text message and I know I’ve had no medical procedures. Calling the number yielded the same as you. I Never click on links, so yes, highly suspicious and I would advise no one to click on the text.

Got a text saying I had a bill from a pathology center where I used to live. But area code was not right, so I checked it out. I didn't have any procedure or activity that required path report, so I suspect scam. Will await bill in the mail if it's not!

They are a fraud simply because you "do not know them"?  Do you classify everyone and everything and every business a fraud if you "do not know them"?

I am getting similar texts from this number leading me to the same billing site. However, I have not been to the medical facility they reference in over a year. What bill could I possibly have? Also, I have not received any billing statements from the alleged org...just this text which I think is strange.

Looks like these are radiology bills so it could be for that or it could be for the doctors who read the x rays.  It seems this is the new thing now where they save lots of money by not mailing bills out.  Most likely you agreed to it somewhere in the paperwork you signed.
