I got several calls from this number. They didn't leave a message.
I live in the Atlanta Metro area.

they call, but never leave a message. Get called about 5 times a week.

Yes, I'm in Athens and just got one, too.

I just called the number back and got a message saying that it was the Georgia State Troopers Assn fundraising drive and that I'd be getting a call back later--yippee!

I live in Columbus, GA and I've gotten a call from this number at least once a day for the past 5 days. It looks like everyone responding here is in GA so the post about the Georgia State Troopers Assn sounds right on the money (so to speak).

GA State Troopers requesting donations for scholarships, education, etc. Requested they send info via mail.

They have called here the last 2 days, no message either time,

Lodgecast (404-549-4424) just called and asked for my husband, Tim.  When I asked who was calling, the guy said, "Anthony" and then asked again if he was home.  When I said, "No", he hung up without saying anything else.  It was a little unsettling.  So, I had no idea what it was about.  It freaked me out enough that I set our security alarm!

After looking through some of the comments left here, I called the number back, too, and also got the message that it was the Georgia Association of State Troopers and that they have begun their fundraising efforts.  (We're in Mableton, GA.)  It's a bit alarming that, if it is truly the State Troopers, they would allow people to call like that and shake us up.

We get these calls several times a week.  When we answer, no one talks.  If it really is the Georgia Association of State Troopers, I wouldn't donate to them just because of their bad manners.  If it's not them, how do we find out who it is and stop the calls?

This number calls several times a day. They do NOT leave a messege. After reading this blog I would have to agree that if it were the GA.S.T. calling for their donations that they would leave a messege and not scare everyone. My husband and I live in Camden County, GA.

They call our house at least daily, if we answer nobody will talk back, so we don't answer. As with everyone else, they never leave a message. We also live in GA. I only give money to our local police and sheriff, and they come pick up the check at our home and give us a receipt. I don't give to a group collecting for others because that group gets too large a cut of the money.

Called my house before 8:30 on a Saturday morning--RUDE.

Called med today.  Left no message.  I wished they wouldn't call.

The caller wanted to speak to the business owner.  As her assistant I said I needed to know who he was and why he was calling.  He said it did not concern me.  I told him that he would not be able to speak to me unless the caller identified himself.  He then hung up.

I just got a call from this number at my business in Macon, GA. When I picked up it sounded like whoever was calling was at a loud party or something... proceeding to block now after reading everyone else's comments...

They called my number today but thank god my phone was malfunctioning.  I am putting them on the blacklist so they cant call.. maybe I will forward their call to one of the telemarketers.  FYI ViaTalk has phone service that allows you to custom lock each call.

Yes, us too.  They have called my husbands phone for the past couple of weeks, no messeges either. They finally got around to calling mine, and I didnt answer.  I just did this search and found this site. Apparently these people are up to no good from what I have been reading. I wonder what they are REALLY up to?? Just tell everyone you know to BEWARE! This is not how a legit company operates. I use to run several telemarketing & fund raisers.

Caller asked for Rick, I asked who was calling. They said the "Tennesee" state troupers assoc. I asked what it was in reference to. He started making believe he couldn't hear me. He kept saying hello can you hear me. Then he hung up.
