Said they were associated with the Georgia State Troopers and wanted to count on my support for money for funding an "ID program".  I asked how much money went to the "cause".  He said he didn't know the answer.  I asked to mail me information.  He said okay and hung up before getting my mailing address (haha).  This is the second call I have received in two weeks.  Always ask how much money goes to administrative costs when being hit for donations.

When my phone was answered they said my last name. When I was given the phone they hung up saying nothing.

called 2 times in 2 hours - left no messages either time.

Also received a call this morning seeking donations for the Georgia Troopers Association ID Program. Requested Credit Card Information over the phone but we asked for information to be mailed for verification. Will update this posting if information arrives.

I get called every day. I answered once and never again. No messages left.

A State Trooper called and said he was soliciting for children that were lost or kidnapped and would like a donation.I would receive a decal to put on my car or post on my home window. I asked how much would I have to donate he said $60.00 I told him that was a little steep for me right now I am on a fixed income. So he offered other amounts that I could afford to donate I gave $20.00. Then it kept bothering me so I looked up the phone number and found out that this could have been a fraud call. I read comments from some of the reviews regarding this number so if it will help track down criminals I would like to help!

There was an automated message and then a women asked for my mother in a rude tone shortly after the message...........wierd.....

Said they were from the State Troopers of GA.  Asked if they could bring some decals over to my business to help support children.  Wanted to get my address and have me speak with his supervisor.  He said he was new at this and acted very nervous over the phone.  I waited 30 seconds for his supervisor then he hung up on me.  Found this post.  They appear to be some sort of scam operation based on what I'm reading.

Will not leave a message.... googled the number out of curiousity and found this site.  I did find out it is a landline though.  They call about once a week.
