Called this morning at 10:35am. Left no message. Caller ID just said "CCI"

Caller ID just said "CCI"
Thought it was Coca Cola Int'l, where i have a friend working, but it's Habitat For Humanity.

4045495386 caller ID said CCI; useful info above that it is Habitat for Humanity as they also call daily from 4049418195.  I made a donation once, that shouldn't give them a license to constantly call me.  Sure won't again.

I get calls every day from this number.  I do not answer calls that only provide the city and/or state.  The only ID is "Atlanta, GA". Apparently it is from Habitat for Humanity.  I have already donated to them

I receive these calls which end up in a beeping sound that goes on and on and on. Get them to stop. I will never donate to any group that uses this kind of telephone solicitation.

After reading on this site that it was Habitat for Humanity, I checked and saw I had contributed twice already this year. I called back to tell them this and got a recording, I kept hitting 0 until the recording said if I didn't want anymore of these calls press 3. I did and entered my phone number. Supposedly I'm off their list

I have received numerous calls from Habitat and have told them that I already support Habitat through my church and that I do not wish to be solicited via the phone. Now I receive calls from 404-549-5386 that caller id lists as CCI. Interesting to hear that this is really Habitat. If they have money to spend on this type of solicitation, then they do not need my money!!!

I am constantly receiving calls from this number:  I have requested, on more than one occasion, to have my name removed from their list, but they still constantly call.

Called the number back and yes, it was Habitat for Humanity. I do contribute regularly but it appears this is part of their "Friends and Family" campaign and are using "robo" calls. After selecting "1" for more info, you finally get the option to select "0" to be removed from their call list. Recording says federal law allows up to 30 days for the "do not call" list to be updated.

I agree with Guy&Mike Morenko I also give and don't like the calls all the time they would get more if just stoped all the calls talking to computers is not my thing when you call have a real person to talk to not a computer

I did what Guy did and called the number back.  It is as he reports even though it showed up on my phone as CCI, it was Habitat for Humanity.  I too selected "1" and after listening to the menu choices it was actually "3" that I needed to select which had me put in my phone number to be removed from their calling list.  Hopefully it won't take a full 30 days to remove my number.

Received two calls today from this number.  Caller ID said CCI.   Before the answering machine could come on they hung up.  Then an operator's voice came on and said "If you wish to make a call, please hang up and try again."

So glad for the tip.  I make a point of not giving to anyone who calls me.  I donated to them earlier this year and just want my phone to quit ringing.

MY ONLY QUESTION IS, HOW DO WE GET THESE CALLS TO STOP????
I'VE ADDED MY NUMBER TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST, BUT THE NUMBERS ARE STILL COMING.

Thanks to all who had helpful tips about 404-549-5386 being Habitat for Humanity and how to handle it. I called the number back, pressed "1" and then immediately pressed "3" to get to the place where I could enter my phone number on their "remove phone number from call list".

Please take my number off your call list!!!!

I'll bet these are not calls from Habitat, but someone scamming everyone and claiming it is Habitat to try and make them look bad.  I don't believe it.

I gave to Habitat for Humanity also last Fall and have been inundated with mail and calls from them. I get them from both numbers and glad to know they are both the same place. Sometimes I get several calls in a day and I usually don't even answer. I finally did and ccould tell it was computer generated call as it took a long time for anyone to come on the line. I was so frustrated, I just said, " Do not call this number again. You have harrassed me for weeks with calls and mail and I will never donate to you again." She just kept saying Hallow, Hallow. Sounded like someone from the South that couldn't pronounce "Hello."  That was 2 days ago and so far no more calls. I don't see how it can be legal for them to harrass people like this.
