- KimberMy boss received a call from this number and I called the person back as I am his sole employee. They were asking to verify my SS#. Weird. They wanted to verify the last four digits of my number. They said it wasn't me, as the numbers didn't match. I hope this wasn't a scam, but I am clueless as to who this is.
- michele| 2 repliesI also received a call from this number with no reason for the call. Were any of you also involved in the Anthem security breach? all I can think is maybe it is related?
- Caller: Pavillion Compound
- michele replies to michele| 1 replyto be clear - their reason was to verify employment but I can see no reason why anyone would need to do that.
- BeckyThey called me at home and wanted my HR number to verify information. She would not say where she was from.
- TonyI got the same call as everyone else. A female left a voicemail to verify employment. I am the only owner of my company and have not applied for anything that would require a verification of employment. Very strange.
- Millieperson called looking for another Sylvia. got upset with me and saying it was me

- rnn employee replies to Rnn verification is a fraud| 71 repliesRNN is a licensed and insured third party verification company that verifies information for law firms, credit purposes, updates on information such as school loans....could be a number of reasons. We aren't given the reasoning for the verification, so we can't really explain any further than what we all say on the phone during our recorded calls.
- Gunnar replies to rnn employee| 43 repliesThanks for giving us the reason why no one should give you ANY information at all! If you're legitimate, in ANY way, you'll be happy to give us your physical address and license/ bonding information. It's a given that you'll supply us with NO verifiable information so I'd like to thank you for taking the time to prove that you're scammers & preventing anyone who finds this site from being defrauded by you.
Oh and just as an aside, I hope that as soon as someone answers your calls that you immediately inform them that the call is being recorded. As a business you're required to do so immediately as per federal law. Of course, depending on the state you're calling, your target may not be required to inform you that the call is being recorded. A lot of people in "one-party" states have been recording a lot of calls from outfits using 404 area codes lately. I'll leave it to you to figure out why that is so...

Gunnar - RNN employee replies to Gunnar| 41 repliesI can't disagree with your thoughts. It does look sketchy when we can't give you any information. Just an employee at a call center, so we have to stick to a script. We do inform each caller (incoming and outgoing calls) that they're being recorded, regardless of the state we are calling. We do it with every single call. Our company name is RNN Group, you can google that or simply RNN verifications or something relating to that and it will immediately bring a link for the company website. We are told to tell people that we don't know the reason for the verification, which is true. And saying that sounds horrible, but that is from our management. Trust me when I say it that I know it sounds horrible, Gunnar! We agree. But a job is a job is a job.
- Well... replies to RNN employee| 3 replies....they don't appear to be registered - as required - by the Secretary of State for Georgia....
- Gunnar replies to RNN employee| 21 repliesIf you're so upfront, why would you be wanting anyone to have to search for you? This is your opportunity to supply us with the details about your company right now! You can supply us with your physical address & license/ bonding information. Is that too much to ask for? Or is it that you would prefer to have people visit your site? Do we need to guess why that may be so?
I think you've told us enough. You admit that you "fish" for information, that you supposedly don't know for who, that you record all your calls, that you know it "sounds horrible" and that "a job is a job". If that's not enough to convince people to simply hang up on you I really don't know what more it would take! You need to look for a real job &...

Gunnar - Alfalfa replies to rnn employee| 24 repliesDon't play innocent with us. Why don't you just tell us you are a skip tracer? Isn't that what you do---cold call third parties digging for personal and financial information on people?
- Gunnar replies to Alfalfa| 2 repliesAw shucks Alfalfa... I was hoping that rodent would dance around for a while longer. Oh well. That one was pretty transparent anyway.
Live Well.
Gunnar - William replies to RNN employee| 3 repliesThey are a skip tracer. And a data broker. Which, among many methods, uses cold calls to get information.
