She identified herself as Ashley, a senior account manager with Publisher Services. This is a scam call from some people having gotten my number. I have been getting calls constantly from different numbers I have never heard of. I wish I could get off their list.

Ashley called, said I won 1 million dollars and to please verify my name..I said You called Me, you tell me my name.  A 'robo' voice spelled my name and when I mentioned this, she hung up.  SCAM!

Same caller for me. Regularly. I win cruises, too. I'm on Do Not Call list but that apparently is a limp law. Who can make them stop?

You can help yourself out a great deal by completely ignoring unknown numbers. It sounds daunting, but as long as callers are getting some kind of answer from the numbers they dial, they're likely to keep calling. If they're continuously getting nothing from the numbers they call, they've got nothing to work with. Stopping all the calls is probably impossible, but you can greatly reduce the number of junk calls you get. It takes time and patience.

Absolutely. I block the calls in such a way that my phone doesn't ring, but they think the phone is still ringing. Of course, it just keeps ringing (for them) and no one answers. It's hard to believe, but in some months I get no junk calls at all. So it can be done.

For some reason I have been in the mood to answer the phone. Someone called from this number and said it was a 'Reward Center' and I was eligible to receive money. I talk to them a bit to get information and this time for once they were very polite. I do not know what they wanted ultimately, what ever their scam is. Robo call blocking won't work with live calls. It is a shame, once you turn 65 they know you are home and have more time to get scammed.

Called called and said calling from 'GSM Marketing' or something similar... on a recorded line.  I stated "place me on a do not call list for your company and all of your companies affiliates do not call lists. "  Called stated sorry we will and hung up.

Haven't seen a call back from this number... yet, but will be placed on an auto reject list.

Got the same call today from same person. She eventually hung up on me because she couldn't over-talk me as I kept asking to remove my number from their call list. I'm reporting them to my AG since my # is on a Do Not Call List. Good luck!

This is not a scam, it is PCH collecting unpaid accounts.  IE: orders placed online not paid for

So why are they calling me when I've never purchased anything from them? I even changed my number and they followed me, never once identifying themselves as PCH.

A woman name Ashley from a Publishing Clearing House called and wanted to know if I want to stop magazine I have been recieveing this past year. I told her that I didn't authorize any of the magazines I've been getting then she explain that every time you order something on the internet these magazine company's take your information and start sending you their magazine and try to bill you later. I asked how they could do that then she raddle off the last 4 numbers of a card I haven't had in over a year. When I told her I don't have that number she hung up. Beware buying things on the internet!!

so maybe the scam here is for people being paid to call you and you end up spending money on trying to find out who they are and stop them. Could that be the scam?
