they called my cell too

ust received a robocall from 406-219-2571 on my cell phone.  They claimed to be from "cardholder services" with an offer to reduce my interest rate.  They did not name any credit card brand.  

I filed complaint 11-T00702622 with the FCC.  If this number calls your cell phone with a prerecorded marketing call, please file a complaint with the FCC and refer your complaint is the same telemarketer as my complaint number.

I received this voicemail message from this number:

"[Reduce] your interest rate to as little as 6.9% your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number one on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate, or press the number 3. To discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. Rec'd a call and voicemail pre-recorded message about lower interest rates on my cell phone while at work.  Filed a complaint with the FCC 11-T00703100

They called my phone and didn't leave a message, i hate this.

Numerous repeated calls from this to cell and house. Work at night, sleep in day, but cannot ignore callwhich may be come in early. A Real pain.
"This is Rachel from CardHolder services" and promises to lower interest rate on my credit cards.
I have no cards - interest or interest rates.
"Press 1 to speak to operator." When I ask for removal of my phone number as listed under "Do not call" they hang up. Think it is a scam.

Get on the National Do Not Call Registry list so you can block any and all soliciting phone calls from companies like this.  Info can be found at: https://www.donotcall.gov/

Got a call. I know its a scam but I wanted to get some additional information on who is behind it. They say they are calling from CCG Card Member Services. You must owe more then $2500 in credit card debt in order to qualify (for their scam I guess). when I said I owed less then $1000 they said your doing great you dont qualify and hung up. They said they were calling in regards to all my credit cards but does not have any of my personal information. Be very wary. They constantly call my company looking for some idiot who will give them their personal info.

Got the same "robo" call from 406-219-2571.  Filed a complaint with the FCC.

They called me about some credit thing. I pressed 1 for a live operator and I was messing with him. I think I made him cry and he told me to, "Cut my eyes off." Lot of fun
