So that you don't get calls from legitimate telemarketers as well.  It always amazes me when people think that this one particular set of laws will do what no other law in the whole world can do and that is to stop crime.

Just block the number and report it to your service provider.

Just received a call from this number, and the caller ID showed on my phone as "HILTON." The Call Screening feature on my iPhone answered the call, and when Siri asked them to state their name and what they're calling about they disconnected without saying anything. I did a little digging, and found that this phone number is NOT an official phone number for Hilton or Hilton Grand Vacations - and that this number is used by scammers claiming to be with Hilton Grand Vacations. I reported the number as Fraud and blocked it.
