Student loan help

Student loan company.
When I answered, they asked for me by name. I told them I have no idea who they are because my college was paid in full when I attended 25+ years ago. They apologized and said they must have the wrong number. So I suspect they are soliciting business and trying to get people to transfer current student loans to their company. When they found out I don't have a student loan, they said it was a mistake. So hopefully they remove my number from their database.

Same thing just happened to me about 30 minutes as well, same as the guy above. Weird.

Some college punk sounding kid called and he knew my name and said they are calling about student loan help that i requested... I said i'm using a GI Bill from the military, i don't have anyloans... he replied with "Oh sorry, my bad bro..." Then he got quiet, and i hung up.

Said they were a student loan company. When I started asking questions they became rude and hung up. Gotta be a scam.

Student loan scam to obtain your personal information

Called me a few minutes ago.  Received a voicemail consisting of 47 seconds of silence.

Do not answer calls that I do not recognize.  Just take them and post here..

Called and said from Hollywood FL....407 is in Orlando FL to reduce my homeowners insurance premium 25% per Florida law. I told her this is a scam & did she want my CC # she said they don't need it. Well then My ins co should automatically reduce my rates... SCAM

This is a new one.  Call blocker took care of it.

I see that this was once a student loan caller and now a lower your home premiums caller so apparently it's just a scam.
No name and/or no number, I don't answer, but sometimes I will call back, but I usually check here first a lot of times. This one didn't even say "Unknown Name". Instead it said "UNASSIGNED" in caps which was strange.

I got a call from 407-308-0990 on February 12, 2016 at 5:08 pm.  I wasn't home and the caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Unassigned," something I've never seen before.  Don't all legitimate firms use their real name for their caller ID?  I should think so.   I have been on the Do Not Call list for over ten years.

Scammers must be checking out the Phone Call Sites.  Caller ID now shows 'Orlando' instead of 'Unassigned'.  Wow, I bet that is going to fake everyone out.  So back in 2014 it was a student loan scam and now it is a lower your home insurance rates scam.  Lucky us!
Just keep ignoring and blocking.

Caller ID said, "Unassigned" - answer, no one there.  Veryannoying.

Called my cell phone June 6. 2016.  Did not leave msg.  Suspected spam/telemarketer.
