- KaiTotal telemarketing fraud.
Multiple calls, I answered once. Offer to give me a vacation pack but I have to pay 399 right now on the phone or pay a 199 deposit. I told her I'll call back later, but she said it's the last day, and that everyone member only got one chance so that it's fair. If I call back I won't reach her. I said I never got an email and she said it's a special offer to only the honor members. Total [***], and they ask you to tell them your credit card number.
She also claimed that there are millions of millions of members getting this call so there's not many spots available . I was bored so I did an analysis. I told her if every call takes 10 minutes, then she can reach 240 people in a week, or around 1000 member in a month. So it takes at least 1000 people to call for a month to cover all the "millions" members. She said yes, that's why the space is limited.
She mentioned previously that 399 is for 4nights 3 days stay, and I can bring 3friends. After my stay they'll give me another free cruise trip in a 12 month window. Again I was bored, so I said assuming out of the million members, one tenth paid, and one fifth decide to stay in the Orlando hotel (she gave me five choices.) Thats 20,000 people. If every person brought 1-2 friends, then that's 50,000 people. If the amount of people checking in is the same every day, and everybody stays 4 nights, then they need 200,000 nights a year or 300 rooms every day. I told her it's not "special" at all if a hotel has so many "honor members" every single day.
The lady got annoyed and very pushy, repeating all the words she already said, like you can bring the friend, you don't have to choose a day etc etc. I asked her if it's so limited, why would she spend 40 mins on one person? She said cause you are our special member. I laughted and hang up.- Caller: So called Hilton Honor

- BrendaThese guy call me and say they are calling on behalf of Hilton Honors for 4 nights stay in Orlando for just $249. He says if you dont plan to visit Orlando anytime soon, thats ok, just pay the $249 right then and you are good to use the offer on any any Hilton property. I just kept talking to figure out what they would get at and also to while away their time. But it got creepy when they started talking about my home address and stuff. So just hung up on them.

- JayEssThey called my cell and I didn't answer. I called them back on another number and it was announcement for the Hilton Honors rewards something or other travel packages. I am an honors member and stay at their hotels regularly but I never agreed to sales calls when I joined. I'm sure that was in the fine print somewhere when I signed up.

- Jesus| 1 replyShe claims she is calling from Hilton. Offered me 2 vacation packages for Hawaii. Big Island, and Honolulu.. It is just that I just got back from Hawaii. She offered me 699.00 for 6d/5n at one of Hilton properties in Honolulu. but they only ask 2hours (during our stay) to sit and listen about Hilton Timeshares. Too good to be true. At first she said she would lock me in this rate for 12 months and can make reservation if I have decided to take the offer...... then she said one thing she can do is she can take a deposit of $349 and pay the rest if I have decided what date to go... I said I don't have my wallet, forgot it at home, she said no worries, she can call me later today. I said no, I have somewhere else to go tonight, call me next week.. then she said I apologize it didn't work out for me this time, and have a good night.... WTF!!!! when she realized I can't make a deposit now she just dropped everything she just told me for about 5minutes. But she did say thank you for being a member of the Hilton Honors.

- B-Edwards replies to JesusSo they make a offer, you accept and they retract under the "We Want it NOW" provision? You were not told at the start of the call that the offer was good for only a certain period of time, right? That seems sleezy. If that is how they treat Honors Members, include me out. Timeshare promotions continue to be blight on the hotel chains and the travel industrial complex.
