- BevI got a text from 4523450@vtext.com. The text said it was from (Direct Express Debit MasterCard) and to
call 1-407-9002634. I do not have a Direct Express Debit Master Card but I called the number thinking maybe I had gotten the msg in error. I reached a message telling me that my debit limit had been set incorrectly and to enter "1" to reset it. I did nothing and after a few seconds the recording came back and asked me to enter my 16 digit card number. I disconnected. Another scammer. I use call screening on my landline phone but now I'm getting nuisance calls on the cell phone.- Caller: 1-407-9002634
- ScottThis is a scam. I had the exact same thing as Bev above.
My local police have already had numerous reports of this phone number and spoofed text number. Some people have not been suspicious enough and entered their card number, expiration and even the three digit V-Code (Security code) on the back of their cards.
DONT DO ANYTHING with the prompts. Just call your local police and report it.- Caller: Direct Express Debit Master Card
