Received a call from this number today @ 1139 and no message was left.  I don't answer unknown numbers

Got a call from this number.. one ring, no message.  Tried to call it back and it goes to a message that indicates that the number is disconnected.

Just got a call from them; I live in Texas. Apparently this is a Florida number. They left no message.

There has been a phone call from this land line around times now. Once at night, and once just today right in the middle of class. I don't know who they are, because I have never been to Florida, nor have I ever met anyone from Florida

I also just remembered:
I got a call on September 26, 11:04 PM, Eastern time from this landline. (the reason why I remembered just now is because I received another call today in the middle of class).
I woke up, very bothered, saw the numbered, picked up the phone about to tell the person that they had the wrong number, but I instead heard a very scary, disturbing, message. The background noise was all shuffled, and it was lower quality audio, but two words crept out of the static: "Hello... Sam..."

The line went dead.

I have never shared my phone number online, EVER. This person is probably not any of my friends, because only a few friends of mine know my phone number, and I know that they didn't call me because this phone I have was a new one at the time, and only about three of my friends knew the number.

Could you guys do something? Anything? This has been bothering me, seeing the fact that they know my REAL name, which I barely post online.

Called my cell phone at 6AM. LEFT NO MESSAGE.

Called at 9:25am no message left. Called yesterday as well, later in the day though

I got a similar call from the same number- only I was told (by a robot of course) to get ready for fun in the sun....I hate these calls- I get charged for them and the do-not call list is a joke!!!!

same as everyone else.  some robo random telemarket krap to see if I answer robo random telemarket krap.  3 rings and hang up without message....  there needs to be a law against this bogus interuption.... Jump in there NSA and help the FCC save the USA.
