This number left a message on our answering device that it was the FBI and that our home address was under investigation.  Sounds like a scam to me!!

I got the same call today

Same robot called me!! Don't these people have anything better to do.  I have no time for this stuff....

Same call as ones above. Left a vm, never addressed me by name just stated there was a warrant out. Total scam.

Same here - Didn't answer the phone and let it go to voice mail.  SCAMMERS!!!!

I just got the same call which was a recorded message saying the exact same thing. Claiming to be from the FBI and saying my address was under investigation for something to do with taxes. Has to be some sort of scam.

Robot recording claiming to be an FBI agent (which is silly, robots can't be FBI agents yet, we don't have the technology) saying that my address is under investigation. Gives a badge number, asks to call back at this number. Clearly a scam.

(Machine Voice) Officer Kathrine Richardson, Badge #: FBI 002569
Message: I am receiving a final notice that Dept of Tax and Crime that my physical address is under investigation, arrest warrant has been issued with my name. Call 408-216-7062 to resolve this matter (with a Thank  you and end of message).

Called and left a message saying it was the FBI and my address was under investigation...SCAM

I received same msg around 11am on west coast...Called 408.216.7062...they asked who prepared my taxes...I responded a third party...they offered to read charges against me...I told them to send me the charges IN WRITING...they hung up.

I just received the same message...yeh this doesn't sound legit. And it advised of a warrant for my arrest at the address...LOL.

OMG, I just called them back and the lady asked for my name and I gave her my first and last name. Then she asked for my middle initial and I told her NO because you should  have it if your are with the IRS and called me.
She then said "let me give you some advice...you can go **** yourself...LOL. Do not give them any of your information but have fun playing along with them...LOL!!!

Got the same message said it was officer Kathrin (sp?) Richardson from the tax and crime; badge no 002569, message also stated that  my physical address is being investigated and a warrant has been issued for my arrest.  Don't think the FBI wants anyone to return a call to negotiate. Have not committed any crime and do not owe on my taxes (would have heard from the IRS on that) so will just wait for the arresting officer
