I received a call from a credit report company saying that I owed over $6k and they would like to consolidate my debt.  When I inquired about how they came about their information I was hung up on.  I called back and received a busy signal.  I believe this is a telephone scam attempting to acquire account information.

I received a phone call from the listed number.  They stated that I had over $6k in debt and I have none.  I believe they are fishing for account information and are scammers.

I received a call @ 7:00am from this number claiming I owed $6000 in credit card debt which is incorrect. When I complained the information was wrong and the call was unsually early they hung up. When I tried to call back I only got a busy signal. I suspect this is not from a reliable company.

Much the same as the above callers.  A 10 AM call saying they could consolidate my over $6000 in credit card debt.  However, I have about $10 in credit card debt.  I hit one to "speak to an agent" or whatever.  I got a woman with a thick accent sounding either Indian or Nigerian (it seemed to me at least).  But, hard to tell b/c all she said was something like "would you like to reduce you credit card debt".  I said, "can you take my name off of the list."  And, I was abruptly hung-up on.  Calling back I get a busy signal.

I got a call from this number everyday for the last 4 days. I have called them back before and was aggressive in asking them to take me off the call list. But I am still being harrassed. It is a telemarketing call stating they can help me out of my financial debt problems. I do have debt but it is not problematic and I am current.

I have recieved this call several times and have not answered it. Thanks again for your assistance.

I keep getting these calls on a daily basis....they are using my 1-800 number on the business line.  I'm a SMALL business OWner in Michigan...and business is really slow, so I am going broke.  And yes, I owe $$$ to creditors as I utilized my personal credit lines to buy out the partner that I had to improve the situation.  What the heck can I do to stop this harrassment??

I got the same call and I hung up on them. What a lot of scammers there are out there.

Also recieved a call from these cretins. They are definitely phishers and my best advice is to hang up on them and report the call to your local consumer advocate's office.

Do not try to call them back and if you can block the number on your phone do so.

They called and left a message vaguely saying that I should call them because of "the creditors" i owe money to. They didn't mention any names, or even my name at that. They are scammers and I'm sick of this crap.

This number calls me at work everyday.

Same as above. When I said I don't have debt and would like to be taken off of the list the woman with the accent abruptly hung up on me. Am going to call Consumer Advocate office about it. Not sure what else can be done.

I got a phone call from this number, I didn't answer and when I called back a recorded message gave me the option to press 1 to be removed from the list... I hope it works!

I keep getting calls from this number... When I answer it is a recorded voice telling me I can get a lower percent interest on my credit card debt.  This by the way is against the law... recorded messages that is.  So this time I pressed 9 as prompted to talk to a "live costumer service rep".  When someone finally answered I asked them what company they are calling from since I am on the do not call list and I am not suppose to be getting these calls unless they are from a company I hold an acct. with.  They said they work for all the credit card companies that hold the visa or mastercard accounts.  I told them that they are not suppose to be calling me because I am on the do not call list and he said that they could because they are affiliated with all the banks. Whatever!!!  So I then asked if they are really going to want to give me a lower interest rate on my $500 credit card debt and that's when he hung up.  Scammers and law breakers... Like I would ever do business with a company like this!  Ha!

This is about the fourth call this year, all they do is change their numbers to avoid the do not call list.

This number is linked to another number...702-520-1473...similar type of scam.  A real PITA. Tempted to locate them and have a "real" face to face chat with them.

I got a several calls over the past 4 weeks from 408-651-8151. The recording identifies the "speaker" as "Rachel" and does not offer an opt out option, so you have to press 9 to speak to a human.  The most recent call I got I was connected to just a bout the cockiest, smarmiest representative with which I have ever had the misfortune of speaing. When I politely asked him to put me on his "Do Not Call List" he smirked that "He was sooooo scared." and that because I was a credit card holder, he "could legally call me all he wanted." I told him I had registered my number with the national Do Not Call list and he just scoffed and repeated taht since I was a card holder, he had the right to call me to lower my interest rate (nevermind that he does not work for the credit card company that I use). He basically said I was powerless to do anything about his intrusive calls into my home. We'll see about that.

A recorded message "offering" to reduce my credit card rates..."just dial 9 to speak to one of our respresentatives".  I did so, and a rather smarmy male voice comes on almost immediately and said, "Did you call to reduce your interest rates?", to which I answered, "No, I called to request that you put me on your do not call list."  The caller immediately hung up without saying another word.

I have been getting spam calls from 3 months. I got a call from 408-651-8151 second time on my cell. I did not pick up. They did leave a message.
