Where from?

Received a call from this number which was a recording offering a "too good to be true" offer for satellite TV hook up. It asked me to stay on the line to talk to an operator. The line was then picked up by a woman who had a very unintelligible accent. There was also a lot of background noise. I asked to speak to her supervisor to which she asked if she could help. I repeated my request to speak to her supervisor and she hung up on me. I called the number back, but it was a recording that said something along the lines of "If you're interested in free satellite tv, maybe you'll get lucky and we'll call you back" which definitely raised my eyebrow as a scam.

Received a "missed" call from this number, but I did not call it back, as I do not know who it is. Aggravating, as every call received I am paying for.

Frank Thomas left a message that it was imparative that I call him at
800-719-7948.

I rather stick it up his ass.

Called making me an offer for debt consolidation.  Called me and left a voicemail.

Frank Thomas called our office number.  Always get these types of calls in the evening or over noon hour.  He left a message on our answering machine.  Said it was imperative we call 1-800-717-7948.  Caller ID showed unknown listing with the 408-651-8153 calling number.  We are not calling him back because our business does not have credit cards.

Received automated recording call at my office number from 408-651-8153 offering some promotion on satellite.  I stayed on the line to speak to a customer service rep named "Michael."  As indicated in other comments, there was also a lot of background noise and the rep spoke barely intelligible English.  I told him that we were receiving these calls on our office lines and that the number needs to be removed from their call list.  He didn't waste any time hanging up on me without a word.

My experience is the same....from 408-651-8153.  Offering a number of things
1.)Satellite TV (which I hung on for to talk to an operator and when I asked to be removed from the call list the guy hung up - this happened twice and they still call)
2.) Extended warranty on a vehicle - same result as #1
3.) Latest is a guy about 'my increasing payment credit cards' (I have no balances on my credit cards)and that it's 'imperative that I call him back' - yet the number he leaves is not in service.

They must rotate #'s through a series of product offerings...so annoying.

Anyone with luck contacting them live - please advise how.  Thanks!

Recieved a voicemail on my phone around 3:00pm EST. It was in reference to a credit card offer. the caller name was Frank Thomas as stated to make a callback to. Had many calls from this number. Of course I didn't waste my time calling back..LOL....

Message from Frank Thomas. Debt Consolidation... call back at 800-717-7948.

Funny how he has my work number... that no one else has.

VERY ANNOYING.  They call on my cell and eat up minutes.  I've gotten several over the past month for both satellite tv and credit card debt.  I call back and they hang up on me.

Frank Thomas called me again.  

He must like it up the as* because that is what i said I would do to him with that toll free number he say's that it is imparative I call him at: 800-719-7948.

He left two messages today....what do they think?

I too just received a call. I didn't answer and found this blog. Which I am glad I did because I was about to call back.

I like to call back and ask them questions with complicated wording, like, "I realize that you're just going to hang up on me but I was wondering if you might tell me what country you are calling from?"  They usually don't even know what I said, and so they resay their opening line "Would you like to talk wit an agen abow preducing yo deb?"  Or I'll pretend that I don't understand what they're saying and try not to laugh as they try different ways of saying the only line they know.

I was able to find out from one of them today that the company name is "Allied Services".  Now there are a million and ten different companies that go by that name, however, I remember from a couple years back, that there is/was (can't find their website anymore) a collection agency, Allied Interstate Collection Service, which was notorious for cold-calling people to collect a debt to a major company that most people have been or are a customer of, hoping that people will think, "well, I was with AT&T 2 years ago, maybe I do owe them money."  If you ever answered the phone, they would then proceed to call you at all hours of the day and night to get you to pay them the fake debt.  So, it stands to reason that this is probably the company's new line of work...
