Apparently I'm over $6,000 in debt with really high interest.  This seems weird to me, because I don't have a car and my rent is $525 a month plus utilities.  I wonder how I have debt?  Oh, I'm also 20 and my parents co-sign on my credit card.  Plus they're calling me at work.  It's the same as the scam people sent out from Nevada.

Same as the poster above. It was a computer generated call. Got to a representative who would not give me any info about herself or the company. When I asked to be put on a do not call list, she hung up on me. I called the number back and it said that I could press one to lower my debt and I could press two to be removed from the list. I pressed two and it hung up on me. Good times!

I keep getting this call from 408-651-8158 shows up on my caller ID at home.I didn't know the number no namd on the caller ID so I let the machine pick it up. A ladys voice says she was from SS Comm and she was calling about my credit cards bills and to call right away this number 1-800-657-0562. I pick up the phone and said hello can you please stop calling here and the lady keeps talking it was a recording then it hangs up. I blocked my number and called the first number and asked to be removed from their call list and one womens hangs up. Then I called back and a man picks up I said stop calling me and remove from your list he hangs up. I called a again and another lady  picks up I said can you please stop calling me she said ok in a rude tone, then hangs up. I was like these people are no damn good and very rude. I called back again and another lady picks up and I said stop calling me and remove me from your calling list, she said why and I said because you people are scamers and should be a shame of your self. She was yelling at me, calling me names, she starts to laugh I said what's so funny? She says you must have had a bad day I said no not until you people called my home.I said people like myself know all about those FAKE BUSINESS OUT THERE TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY AND THIER PERSONAL INFORMATION. I SAID HOW CAN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND DO THIS EVERYDAY, CALLING PEOPLE TO SCAM THEM. THE LADY TELLS ME TO GO "F" MYSELF, THAT'S WHEN I WENT OFF ON THAT WITCH!!! LOL!! I SAID IN A LOUD VOICE NO YOU GO "F" YOURSELF YOUR RUDE, LYING, CRAZY WITCH, STOP CALLING MY HOME AND GO TO HELL!! I WAS YELLING REALLY LOUD TO GET HER TO STOP CALLING. THEN THIS CRAZY LADY SAID MY MOTHER NEVER YELLED IN OUR HOME I SAID WHAT DOES THESE CALLES HAVE TO DO WITH YOUR MOTHER? I SAID NOTHING!!I THEN SAID DOES SHE KNOW WHAT TYPE OF WORK YOU DO? I NOW HAVE ALL THE LINES THAT THEY USE. LOL!!! NO MORE CALLS FROM THEM, NOW WHO GOT THE LAST LAUGH!!LOL!! THOSE ARE SOME RUDE PEOPLE. MANY OTHER FAKE BUSSINESS OUT THERE SO BEWARE!!! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE.

I got callS from these number to but not anymore I fix there bullcrap FAKE scaming business. I had to fight back over the phone just to get them to stop calling my home. These people are very rude. I hope they stopped calling you too. Fight back and put them in their place!! Take care.

Well, Sweet40's message is enlightening on so very many levels.  Unless it is a thrill, the blood pressure must be going through the roof.

Perhaps a lower blood pressure way would be to call your telco and ask how you can block specific phone numbers from ringing your phone number.  I use VOIP and simply access my account's web page, and type in the offending phone number, they will hear a busy signal when calling my number, and I will not receive a ring.  This is part of my VOIP service, no additional charge.

DNC registration only works for real businesses with integrity, and does not apply if the calling organization is not trying to sell you something.  Scammers and cons can spoof the Caller ID number that you see, but why does that matter? block it anyway.  

Call your phone or VOIP company and find out.

I just read your reply. No it's not a thrill and I don't have high blood pressure and my blood pressure wasn't going up. I was just so, soooooo sick and tired of all these calls different of hours of the day. People like my self just get so sick of these types of calls. Many,many people I know GO OFF on these people because that's the only way that they stop calling because they know you are on to their scams. My phone doesn't ring with any more of those calls. It's peaceful now and those type of callers need to be put in there place. I am from the east coast and some of us just don't take much crap from people like those scam callers. I feel for older people and the younger ones that don't know any better and get trapped into bullcrap. Take care.

SORRY I FORGOT TO SAY IN THE LAST MESSAGE. I ALREADY CALLED MY PHONE COMPANY AND I HAD GIVEN THEM ALL THE 800 NUMBERS AND OTHER DIFFERENT AREA CODES IN CALIFORNIA THAT THIS SCAM COMPANY USES. THEY CHANGE THEIR NUMBERS ALL THE TIME. SO WHAT I DID IS HAVE A BLOCK ON ALL 800 NUMBERS AND NUMBERS FROM 408 AND OTHER AREA CODES IN CALIFORNIA BLOCKED. I DON'T HAVE ANY ONE   THAT WOULD BLOCK THER NUMBER CALLING MY HOME OR MY CELL. PEOPLE I DO BUSINESS WITH DON'T USE A 800 NUMBER ALL OF THEM USE THEIR MAIN OFFICE NUMBERS. SO NOW MY HUSBAND AND I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THOSE CALLS ANYMORE. TAKE CARE

I received a call from 408-651-8158.  I did not pick, as I did not recognize the name or phone #.  Called the number back.... They imediately asked if I want to reduce my Debt.  First round I just aked "who they are", got hung up on.  Called again, this time, I played in to their game, and said Yes, I wish to reduce my debt.  Then I asked What their company name was:  Allied Services. Then, I asked where they were located: Miami, FL.  Then she asked more about reducing my debt, But I tried to get the Building address, which is where she hung up on me.  Funny, How an area code of 408 (San Jose, California and the Silicon Valley) has people saying they are calling from Miami, FL. - A Scam indeed.  

I will have to say, this is the SAME group that dialed from Phone numbers along the east coast a few months ago. It is a scam!!
Easy to recognize, they have the same script they go through, and hispanic accent.

Every time you receive these phone calls, report them to The Federal Trade Commission. Every time. The FTC builds cases against these people and then goes after them. That is what the Federal Trade Commission is for! Why gripe about it on these sites as opposed to being truly effective? This is why they put the no call law into affect. To go after these scumbags and keep tabs on them the rest of their lives.
Just thought I would let some of you know. From reading these posts it appears that no one does this.

I read your message. As for letting the FTC know what's going on I have already done that,plus I have called my phone company to have a block on these numbers from coming in. These scammers keep changing their numbers. I was on the don't call list and I am still getting calls. PLEASE" don't be so quick to judge others writting messages on this website. Take care.

this is an on going thing, No one on phone when I answer but will leave a message telling me they have my  info in fron of her and that she can get my monthly payments cut in half and get me out of debt...I have no credit cards... and my husbands is paid of monthly this is very anoying

Called, and picked up no one there?

Calls every other day. Comes up on the caller ID as Q S Comm.  I have reported it to the FTC, but I doubt it will do any good, as we all know these scammers keep changing their numbers.

Received a call from them at 5:39 on a Monday morning. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

1-408-651-8158 I rec'd a call from the # at 6:10 am this morning.  When I called it back I got a recorded message.  It prompted me to press one if I wanted to be removed from the call list, which of course I did, but I'm guessing it's not that easy!

Called received in the middle of the night 1:45am.  Phone rang twice and call was dropped.

Just got a one ring call 3:02am Maryland time

Found a call from this 408 651 8151 # on my phone @ 3 am today also in Maryland. Read about all the calls described here. Erased it. Added the # to a list I have of scam calls. Thanks, everyone.
