I answered it and it was a robot, asking "I have a call for [Name of person], if that person can answer the call, press 1, if away, press 2, or wrong number, press 3. Even if I was the person, I wouldn't want to press 1 anyways, as most likely it's probably some debt collector asking to pay some debt from years ago that's been expired and closed out. So who'd want to reopen old wounds just to start again with new ones. Duh... Just how many people do they actually reach for this, I would think slim chance. Oh well, I thought if I searched it here, I would know more who/where the number was from. Anyone else know more?

Guys keep on calling and it gets annoying

It is Rickenbacker Collections in Gilroy California.  They are the lowest and dirtiest agency I have ever come across.  I would just avoid them and not respond in anyway!!  Let them pound sand.

This is my 2nd post here now that I know who they are that's still calling that I can avoid.

The same thing happened to my husband... They put a towing/impounding charge on his report, even though he didn't own the car in question! We still haven't been able to get that thing off his report, now we're just waiting for the 7 years to go by so the time limit will pass. These collectors call our phone 5 or 6 times a day. I never answer, but it's certainly annoying, since the one time I did speak to someone I told them to stop calling because we were never going to pay a debt that didn't belong to us.

I keep getting calls for someone who must have had my phone number before and then they leave the message about debt collection.  I owe nothing to anyone.  Please stop this.
This is not even for me.

This caller keeps calling and leaving robot messages for someone who may have had my cell number before me.  I do not owe a debt of any kind.  My cell phone is also on the do not call registry so this is illegal.

These calls show up frequently on my caller ID but no one ever leaves a message. I see they are a collection agency but I know these calls are not for me. No one ever bothers to confirm the phone number they keep calling? They must be idiots. Whomever is in charge has people who are wasting their time calling a bad number. Apparently I am not the only one this happened to.

Yes this group of vultures are free to disgrace the life of all American familys with the benevolence of city's officials
they pick up cars from the streets and store'em for days without telling owners about it that way they can charge for storage if nobody shows to reclaim the vehicle it is sold or dismatled on PICK YOUR PART WRECKING YARDS
But if the proffit is less than they expect they go after the last registered owner and charge them for the full amount of the bill

And they have the power to destroy your credit legally or ilegally with the consent of our government

Who gives them the contracts or concession to do this win/win "BUSSINES"?

Does the BBB has anithing to say about it?

If a small shop or service provider overcharges a customer they got a fine
But this "group" is getting away with all this frauds.
