    A live person asking for donation to a police organization.  Asks for a family member by name.  Asks if he can send information to me.  I told him that I don't respond to solicitations on the phone nor give out any personal information over the phone and hung up then blocked the number.

    Same scam saying they wanted to send a contribution envelope. I don't recall the name of the company they used but being married to a police officer It didn't sound familiar at the time. The legitimate police officers benefit associations don't solicit over the phone.
