More of the annoying pattern of calls since Oct 12th 2014.  Every day I get an early call from a number identified only as "Beaumont TX", a different number every day.  Then I'll get several more calls throughout the day from that same number (2 to 6), then the next day a new "Beaumont TX" number calls and repeats this pattern (with other numbers occasionally peppered in, see below).  They rarely ring more than 4 times, and never leave a message when the voicemail picks up.  This pattern has been happening every day since the 12th and continues today (Oct 27th).  I know all these numbers are the same scumbag telemarketer/scammers, but here's what I'm getting:

How do I get this nonsense to stop?

They are scumbags and harassers.  I've been getting half a dozen calls from them every day for over 2 weeks, I have no business with anything called "Conn's" (how ironic), and have never heard of them before.

More of the annoying constant daily calls since Oct 2014.  I haven't posted in a while so I figure I'd do a year-end list since my last post on Nov 23.  The number of scam calls I've received is ridiculous, I get as many as 20 a day now, TWENTY (I'm not displaying calls with no numbers here, I get a few of those too).  How many hundreds of calls do I need to get before it is considered harassment?  Phone company won't do anything about it, they want to sell me more overpriced crap.  I'll probably be switching to a VoIP service soon so I can have control over my line without getting ripped off.

Anyway, here's the nightmare of calls.  By the way, I don't owe anyone money, I've never had a student loan, I've never done business with "Conn's" or "SALLIE MAE", these calls are pure BS.  And they never leave a message when they manage to get the voice mail:

I don't know how much more I'll be posting, I think this list gives the idea and I simply can't keep up with it anymore.  I bought a new Panasonic phone that allows 250 blocked numbers and you can set it to not ring on the first ring before it blocks, which has helped save my sanity (I'm not posting the model number here so this isn't considered spam, but it's easy to find with a search).

It is coming from a company called CONNS-...ARTISTS. MY wife and I needed a couch and two chairs for the house. We got an email saying we were approved for 4250.00. We didn't know what to do so we went to the address they sent us in Phoenix, AZ. We have been TRYING to send. The three pieces back for they are made VERY poorly, so we have been trying to get them to pick the pieces back and NO ONE has answered....NOT EVEN these calls that come everyday, multiple times per day., but when I said to COME PICK UP THIS " CRAP " for its made like crap....they WONT come pick it up..even after I told them to come take it back.....what a scam...and they WONT TAKE IT BACK.as in "NO BACKSIES.." Idk wat to say or do but to CHANGE my number....

It almost looks like something is checking your credit. You may want to put an advisory alert on your stuff. And check everything to make sure you don't have any other charges

same here!! I have been put on the "waiting list" to pick up the merchandise!! that was 2 months ago!! the mattress that I got from there turned lumpy within a week after using it !!!!! im about ready to take the mattress to the closest store and say here ya go stop harassing me and calling me bcause Im not paying for this sadly made crap!!!

It is Conn's. I do have an account with them. However, they have been calling incessantly to tell me my payment is overdue, and it is not. I have a new contract with them that is not yet in the system, and my payment is not yet due. I have told them this repeatedly, yet they continue to call multiple times a day. I would understand if the new contract were actually new--however, I signed the "new" contract about a month ago! I have also been told more than once that "I have spoken with my manager and you will be removed from the queue so we don't keep calling you." No luck. Also, it would be nice if, when I pick up the telephone, there were actually a person on the other end of the line! Sometimes it's a recording, and sometimes it's absolutely nothing followed by a hang-up. I am so over dealing with them, and I haven't even started paying on my account yet!
